So anyone running into this….so I thought my dealer ordered me a twill 2dr bestop….they ordered the wrong part. Easy fix…no! There are 0 bestops available for 2 door but here in a hot second all 2 dr at dealer for stock will have them as we sit and wait on ours. That feels wrong. Why can’t individuals with orders get parts for our existing orders? Especially when they are placing them on stock and not an option for us?

The dealer stock builds are 4dr soft top (no 2dr). Ford has been clear that the dual-top option is not available this year. Also rumors of a legal issue of some kind with the 2dr soft top, so don't hold your breath.

Legal issue with bestop? My dealer says they are scheduled to receive 2 Dr softops and that kinda burns me up given I can’t get one after waiting a year and others who come along can. Another “commodity constraint” right? Thing is my dealer is super cool and helpful but stuff Ford is doing is annoying!!
