What exactly is the gamble? That Ford will stop producing the Bronco? Only gamble I can think of is that if there's a specific existing paint color you want or model trim as there could be color changes and streamlining of the line for 2025 models. Otherwise nobody will have problems purchasing Broncos this time next year barring another pandemic.
My point is not that you could not get a Bronco but that Ford keeps changing the order book for the models or in the case of Base, dropping them. If you wanted an OBX in ā€˜22 and could finally order one in ā€˜23 you gat a call that the cloth seats and A51 were gone and the cost jumped. If you waited until ā€˜24 hoping the seats returned you found 4A was now gone as was the two door. Now the V6 is gone. So my gamble did not pay.

Well if the 2025 sport is any indication it looks like the front will be more, Raptor ish, and the color selection reduced with a lot of body graphics options. One thing interesting is they talk about the HOSS 3.0 on the sasquatched sport. Hmmm. I have a 2dr 24 BL Sasquatch ordered, to replace my 21, but still looking to see what is in store for the 25's Hoping for HOSS 3.0 on a Badlands and Better door panels that don't scratch when you touch them. also worried about losing the 2.7. Thus the 24 order. First I've heard the rumor of losing the 2dr.

LOl just told my MY24 order now will be built on sept 30, sure hope they release the 25's soon.

I was faced with the same dilemma. I decided to pull the trigger on a 24 for these couple if thoughts:
  • We don't know what the changes will be for the 25, and we know what the current G6 is and its strengths and shortcomings.
  • Majority of the reliability/bugs have been worked through and we know what to expect on the 24.
  • The 24 is available with some discounts, 25 may make you wait yet another year from now or more.
  • I wanted a 2 door, Manual. It was available now, but may not be in future. ā”
  • I wanted a BL 24, so I got the 12" screen and the steering rack.
  • Lots of aftermarket stuff is available now, it may be a bit on the 25.
Do I expect them to massage the exterior? Yes. Do I expect them to address the easily scratched interior and instrument cluster? Yes. Does that matter to you? You may not like it and buy then limited on what 24's are around.

Life’s a gamble. Sometimes you win, sometimes you loose. I originally wanted a Basesquatch before they decided they wouldn’t make them in 21. Once all the configurations came out, I was forced to move up to a Badlands as I wanted mid and a manual. As luck turned out, I wasn’t able to get scheduled in 22 because of dealer allocations but that allowed me to change my order to a Heritage which is exactly what I wanted. Manual, mid package, cloth seats and ā€œbig footā€ package. I’ll probably upgrade the steering to hoss 3.0 at some point and the 8 inch screen works fine for my use case. So…..I gambled by keeping my Granger reservation/order but won in my opinion by getting the Heritage with a Badlands price protection check from Ford.

I am waiting to see if they upgrade the speedometer display for 2025 like they did in the sport...
