I ordered my BB on 10/03/23 and have a scheduled week of 1/08/24. My salesman seems to think vehicle will be delivered in late January is that accurate? Maybe I’m just in disbelief my Bronco is getting built 3 months after ordering?

(I live in Indiana so I’m assuming no rail)

Yes, that is correct, the vehicle enters production a week to 10 days prior to the ”blend” date when they start putting components together.
your blend date is currently scheduled for a day in the week of January 8th,
as you get closer you will get a more definite blend date.
blend is when the chassis and the vehicle are blended together, completion of the assembly is typically a day or two after that. For example: assuming a blend date of January 10, the vehicle should be produced by the 12th. Since you are in Indiana it would be shipped by convoy and conceivably could get to your dealer by the 25th if everything goes smoothly.

The days of old, checking weekly to see if I was scheduled.
4 months isn't good,I can't believe Ford is still that far out.
Better than it was, ordered April 2021 and got my Bronco May 2022.
FYI it's worth the wait!!

So I put this in the thread for the last constraints post....

In regards to people seeing "in production" now when the scheduled week was 1/1

I thought I read somewhere that there was or could be a holiday shutdown.

So, if they do a 2 week shutdown (that would start week 12/18)this could be them prepping for production when they come back up. In a production set up (general
not necessarily ford) we prep the lines for the following weeks production setting up the materials putting things in place to have a smooth start. Maybe this is that and why there are not dates yet?

If they do a 1 week shutdown and they are still producing next week but have finished 23s then this is awesome that they are pulling forward 24s to start next week. Should that give everyone hope to be pulled forward a week?? Or give others hope to get squeezed in where they have pulled forward from??

So for those of you now showing in production with 24 orders keep us posted on when dates populate.

Mine went into production today.
typically they go in production about a week to 10 days prior to the build date.
my build date is 1/2/2024.
they are working this week and shutting down next week.
because of the shut down next week, they start putting components together this week instead of next week, so they are ready to put it all together in the first week of January.

Thanks for that info, I only have experience with a maverick order so I wasn't sure what it all really meant relative to Broncos and the holidays.

My build week is 1/22 and I'm excited to just hopefully get it in 24 haha.

In case anyone’s curious, it’s called blend date because that’s when your Bronco is assigned a literal place in line on the assembly line since vehicles are not built in VIN order. Your Bronco build is literally blended into the assembly line. It’s also at this time when Ford has allocated all the parts and components necessary for your building your Bronco.

Man...I feel left out. :( I'm scheduled for 1st week of Jan with an estimated 4 Jan build date, and my order hasn't been updated to "in production" yet.

I’m the same week as you but mine is still just showing scheduled, what day are you scheduled for? Mine is supposedly getting built on 1/5.

My WT is scheduled to be built the week of 1/08, I called Ford earlier and it’s set to built on 1/12? A Friday? Kinda odd at the end of the week but ok. Not sure if that’s normal.

I found your post to be quite interesting. You noted “ …vehicles are not built in VIN order.” Does anyone know why the vins are not sequential relevant to the production order?
