I think this is not the place for the conversation you are trying to have. Please give Granger a call and set up a phone appointment with Zach or his General Manager.

I understand your frustration, however there is a better place for you to handle this and get the answers, good, bad or indifferent.

I hope that they are able to give you some clarity on your situation and what they can or cannot do. Like everyone else, currently waiting on Ford to issue their guidance so that we can all deal with whatever $h!t-sandwich they are looking to stuff down our throats.

Good Luck Shane.....
Thank you, I’m just trying to find out the most information to help me understand what all is going on. Being told multiple things by multiple people so I try and stay grounded. I have spoken with granger multiple times, Ford bronco customer support. I hold no hard feelings towards granger, they have done way more than most dealers ever would. This isn’t a complaint session it is a fact finding on my part. Having the most information so that I can make the most informed decision on my part. Again WE ARE ALL STILL THE CONSUMERS here and should be treated as such. Ford has taken our bargaining power away by one creating a shortage, 2 not allowing us to switch dealers to find the best deal and timeframe. I have asked multiple times to zach@granger why my 2nd reservation wasn’t listed and also my spot in line for my first reservation and still have not been given a for sure answer. Facts are all I’m looking for from ford and granger. Thank you for the response though, we are all in this together as a CONSUMER!

Hey @Zach@Granger
Are early timestamps being converted and going through the COVP process at Granger first? Given that scheduling starts next week, I would hope that as a Day 1 reservation holder, that I would have copies of my DORA and COVP, but we are not there yet.

Hoping things that might possibly maybe get scheduled would e ready when Ford starts asking next week versus going through the entire pile right now when later reservations which will eventually turn into MY24 orders can be converted later.

Day 1 reservations have been waiting for 2 years and it's unreal that it's reality in nearly October 2022. But... there were later reservations at Granger (October 2020 and maybe even later) who got built this year. I think as long as every order holder, who wants to be eligible for week 1, should get their order entered and be active. For example, I'm an October 2020 reservation, but I had my build to them the moment I could get it pdf'd on B&P the day order banks opened. They had my DL shortly after the pdf email. (Edit: i didn’t do this to try to jump the line, i just want an active order in so i don’t missa well off Scheduling on the off chance it gets pulled.) I don't think it'd be right to chuck mine aside and wait for all the day 1 peeps to get their orders in, but I could be wrong (I have been before).

At this point we can keep believing reservation time stamp is a key component or realize that how the Bronco orders are configured has more impact on scheduling. I believe the latter is more true than reservation time stamp and I wish I was full of BS, but there are many buyers driving Broncos who skipped over Day 1 reservations. It's just the truth. You all deserve better, but Ford has shown they really don't care.

I think we all have some Bronco fatigue, so I'm trying to stay positive for everyone who gets their Bronco regardless of when they reserved or ordered. Good luck to you.

I believe you are wrong again, being an October reservation puts you late to the game, plus you were rewarded with a bigger discount because of the October reservation , anyone ahead of you should absolutely have their Oder put in a prioritized before you. Having your order in THIS time dust has no bearings , we honestly don’t even have full details of price match to even agree to a price . But like you said, I understand your frustration for all involved, but don’t put early day 1 reservation holders against others. We were told from beginning as were you that timestamp made a difference ! Good luck with yours though !

Thank you for your positivity regarding my order. All I'm saying is Ford has proven there isn't a difference between timestamps. It really has very little to do with how they've pulled orders. I'll give you clappy guy emoji for sticking around since day 1 and getting your reservation in though. Kudos to you my friend. If you continue to believe the timestamp Ford statement, you are entitled to hang on to that, but I've chosen to move past it like so many others who see the writing on the wall. It doesn't pass the smell test any longer. Ford dropped the ball and they aren't sticking to anything they've really promised, unless you happen to be a large volume dealership, then I'm sure those owners/GMs are happy.

So you think chucking my order aside is the right thing to do? I'll just nicely disagree and hope everyone gets their order in before 10/6, if they want it active. I'll trust the staff at Granger to get all order holders active prior to that, if the buyer has acted in good faith and given them all the information required well in advance of 10/6. I think that's the right way to handle it, not holding off and waiting for Day 1 people to make up their mind and figure out what they want to do regarding price protection or lack there of. Everyone has decisions to make, if people drag their feet getting their order to Granger, I shouldn't have to wait due to indecision from someone else.

Wait so the 4 months you waited to actually make an initial reservation or order shouldn’t matter now, no we should go by when you got your order in THIS time, come on man! Dealerships should prioritize orders in times they were placed with THEM ORIGINALLY, not this go around. You suing because you were ready THIS TIME yours should be prioritized is just asinine. I’m all about anyone having an early timestamp than me to get one ahead of mine it’s how it works if all commodities are met! I don’t believe in ford but I DO believe in the right thing and if dealerships can help prioritize people’s orders based on originally place then absolutely they should, doesn’t mean yours is getting thrown aside just means it’s being placed in its rightful spot. Don’t confuse what you’re trying to do as righteous because it’s more self serving than righteous!

Lol. So much for having a conversation. Self serving? All i did was send in my order. That’s it. I didn’t expect someone with a November 2020 or January 2021 reservation to be held back for little ol me. See I’m equal opportunity order place over here.

So you hold a dealership to a standard of prioritizing orders over others when Ford doesn’t and never did? Sounds like a terrible business model for dealerships. In the end ask they care about are getting Broncos to sell and Ford clearing out the order bank.

Where did i ever say i was being righteous? All i said is get your order in if you want. You’re wanting to layer them being placed by time stamp in the name of fairness when that’s what Ford is supposed to do. Why on earth would a dealer be held to that standard? It just creates more work for themselves when Ford could simply do what they said. But they don’t. That’s just the reality of the situation. If you don’t want to recognize that, then it’s ok by me. We just don’t agree. It’s ok.

Nobody knows what the scheduling application deems most important for selection in 2023.
  • Original reservation date
  • 2021 order date
  • 2022 order date
  • 2023 order date
  • Dealership determined prioritization number (10-19)
Additionally, it is a lot more nuanced than just those variables. Thinking you can determine how orders are selected by the extremely limited data you have seen is suspect at best. As Estaban loves to say....'its complicated'.

That said. ..Ensuring an early reservation or early order date or lower dealer prioritization number can only help.

Have you not sent Granger your 2023 build? If not, that’s on you. I didn’t wait for them to reach out, I proactively sent in my build once the build & price tool was open. Everything was signed and good to go the day after I sent them my build.

You said YOURS is being thrown aside, no one said that should happen but you assumed that’s what they meant, yours should be placed in order just like everyone else from original placement, and dealerships have the ability to prioritize orders, we all know that and have seen it on here time and time again. I’ll have the conversation all day but when you start it off with ā€œI should be first because I got my order in first this timeā€ is self serving. Goes back to my favorite motto for all, ā€œjust do the right thingā€ and yes I hold dealerships accountable also, they have truly been the scum of the majority of this from the get go, while not all have you hear horror story after horror story on here about dealership! That doesn’t let ford off the hook, but with them at least they have been fair by Fking over everyone and not truly discriminating! It’s why I agree with Elon musk that the dealership model is truly broken and should go away, dealing straight with the automaker! But hey who am I buy a day 1 reservation holder who was pulled for production placed money down with all other info given to dealer only to be told ā€œjust kiddingā€ or selected for a 22 raptor after giving up an order I probably could have had already (which they told me the Raptor had a better chance to be built first) only to be told ā€œjust kidding ā€œ again you gotta reorder and pay an additional 5k! But yeah I hope you get your late October reservation order before everyone since you were on the ball this 4th time around! I truly mean good luck to all, frustration doesn’t even describe it anymore. Also @Zach@Granger.

Lol. I think you’re reading into my posts what you want to get out of them instead of what I’m typing. This is nothing what i said. You stated October reservations should wait until after 1st day inputted their orders. I don’t agree. We all get to order. It’s Ford’s Job to differentiate who gets pulled. Ask Granger to priority code 10 your order. I don’t care one way or the other.

It sounds like you have an axe to grind, but it isn’t with me.
