2022 Outer Banks Sasquatch Bash plates?

Just noticed on my first oil change That mine are plastic. Is this normal for the package I have? Was not expecting to find a protective piece to be plastic....lol

I had the same thing. Good news is that I got mine replaced. It took 3 months of fighting with the Ford. You need to go in to your dealership and see the service manager. They will need to open a mis build service ticket. My dealership got sick of hearing from me and just got them with the thousand dollar deal though Ford. They got me the complete set and installed them. If you want call my dealership and ask for Tony tell them Marty sent ya. They did a great job couldn't be more happy!

Would it be something they would have to install? I would prefer not to leave my vehicle with any dealer. I Will give them a call. Thanks for the information

If you didn't order the Mod bumper, it should be plastic. Some ordered the Mod bumper and still got a plastic plate, those were mis builds.

It would only get steel for the front/engine if you opted for the modular front bumper otherwise those are plastic and either way you wouldn't get the rest of the skid plates with that trim package (if I remember right you only get full skids with black diamond, badlands, or Raptor).

I agree. Hard to believe they don't include any worthwhile skid plates on a vehicle built for off-road and even if you get the optional ones with the modular front bumper then you have to at least buy something to protect the plastic gas tank. Mine came with the modular bumper but i'm still trying to get a full set because the gas tank hangs so low i'd hate to think what'd happen to it without one.
