I posted this in the issues section without realizing that it might not be as followed as here. MODS feel free to delete whichever one makes sense.
I hope I am not recreating the wheel here but have a few questions. I have flat towed a ton in the past year, and has usually been GMC/Chevy products. This is my first Bronco, and there has been a ton of reading that I have done which has made my head spin:
On my other set-ups I have used various products and my RV dealer screwed up my constant on power so I used a work around for the towing I do.
Tow Bar: BlueOx but I am reading that the RoadMaster systems will work with my modular bumper
Braking System: Patriot 2 HOWEVER I did not have power in my former TOADS so I used a Jackery 1500 battery generator to power my unit just leaving it in the driver's seat. This dropped 5% after towing 15 hours so it covers just about any trip I would take.
Lighting System: I used both - onboard wiring and magnetic wireless lights. I tend to trade cars often in this market so the wireless option has some appeal.
Two Questions:
With my 2.7 WildtraK Bronco - Can I just use a Roadmaster setup to my HD Modular bumper OR when my ADD Bumper comes in use my BluOx setup.....use the wireless lights AND my Patriot 2 system powered by the Jackery Battery system if I follow the instructions by Ford and the TSB for removing fuses?
Anyone hear if the Winch Options like JCR Offroad system with tow hooks is good for flat towing? Their site is fairly cryptic.
Forgive me - I have read about 100 pages of threads and remain a bit confused
