Hmmm that's good to know. I didn't think about it being transferred. Problem is, I can't get a rail car number so no way to track it...

Ah, it's been a long day and my reading comprehension is on the decline, I see you did say that before. I believe the only way to get that info is your dealer. If they say they can't or don't know I think your SOL unfortunately. Some have got Ford to give them that info through the Bronco hotline or the chat feature on their website, but seems really hit or miss.

I'm a few hundred miles North of you here in Central California. Did your Bronco get trained via Burlington Northern @ Santa Fe (BNSF)? Reason I ask, mine is supposedly on BNSF but I haven't been able to get any tracking info or rail car #. If yours did ship w/ BNSF i'd be curious to know how you got the tracking info. Thx.

My dealer provided me with a railcar number. The same system that shows the dealer that your bronco has been scheduled, built, released and shipped also shows the rail car number. I'm surprised so many dealers struggle with sharing this...

Not sure what rail company it started on but it finished the trip on Union Pacific all the way to the Union Pacific Auto distro yard.

I tracked it using the CSX 800 number the entire time. the voice tracking mentions "UP" as part of the tracking update.

Per Google, BNSF seems to have it's own set of auto distro yards in CA. San Bernardino (215 freeway & Rialto ave), San Diego & Richmond

Mines been built since 2/28. Ford had ETA of 3/14, Dealer said between 3/8 and 3/15. Heading to central PA by Convoy.

It's taken 11 days to Southern California on rail. ( if anyone is wondering )
Michigan>Indiana>Illinois>Missouri>Nebraska>Wyoming>Utah>Nevada>California> Mira Loma, California - "Union Pacific Railroad Automobile Distribution Center" - Just arrived there. Now I wait for it to get placed on a truck and delivered to my dealer. Hopefully it's only a few days more of waiting....

Hopefully mine was on the same train also headed to SoCal!

My sales guy just called and it was delivered this morning. He texted me some pictures.

Going in at noon to check it out. They will still need to install Security Draw, Rebel 6 Fuel wheels and wildpeak tires

I haven't seen anything, but I'd be curious to know this as well. Your dealership is probably the best source for this information, but I've been trying not to bug mine. BNSF runs to Des Moines where my dealer is located, but the CSX hotline says my rail care was released to the customer in Omaha. Now, Omaha is only about a 2 hour drive from Des Moines, but I still would have expected the rail car to get as close as possible before being unloaded. Hoping it shows up at the dealership today or tomorrow and I can stop worrying about it haha.

Just checked both trackers and it has finally shipped, built since 3/1 and only has to make it to Columbus Ohio. We will see how long that takes.

I believe cars can only be unloaded from the rail cars at special automotive facilities designed for this. here is a map of all of the BNSF auto facilities.

Awesome, thanks for sharing! That map does show that Omaha is the closest automotive facility, so that makes sense. And thanks for the video, that is cool to see. I guess I'll just go back to checking palsapp once an hour then until I hear from my dealer.
