I wish my bronco would get delivered as these accessories are starting to pile up in the garage :)

Overnight, I received the "Shipped" email. It gave a revised ETA of December 29, 2022 - January 4, 2023. Not sure if that's possible. I'm following up with my dealer now. Fingers crossed!

Where is your Bronco currently located, and what was the final ETA Ford gave you?

my best guess is that it’s sitting at alliance rail station. As CSX tracking said the rail car was delivered to customer.

As of now, I don’t have a way to track it anymore. Hopefully, they will get a car carrier to transport it to the dealer soon.

The back door link use to say estimated delivery of 01/02 - 01/08. Now it says 12/31 to 01/06.

My guess is hopefully January 3 or 4. I’m trying to resist bugging my dealer until after the first of the year.

Thanks. I decided to bug my dealer one last time, just to see if they had the rail info, and they did.

I found out from CSX that my rail car arrived at Wayne, MI last night. It's scheduled to arrive at Clearing Chicago, IL in the morning on 1/5.

The dealer thinks Ford's last ETA given to me is a bit optimistic. He said it takes an average of one week to get to their dealership (McKinney) once it hits the rail car, though, so there's a chance it makes the 1/4 ETA, if not, very likely the later part of the following week.

Since CSX is saying 1/5 just to reach Chicago, it's probably going to be the following week.

Seems like my ~2 year journey is almost at its end. Can't wait!!

Morning 12/12 Peeps! I'm part of the 11/14 crew but check out all build week groups to see what's up. Glad to see so many of you getting a "built" status. Couple of things I hope will help as you inch closer to having your Broncos in your stables...
  • Check your window sticker to see if you're going convoy or rail.
  • If by rail, once your Bronco is shipped get the rail car number from Chat or your dealership.
  • Click on the "TRACKERS" link at the top of this page for instructions on tracking your rail car.
  • It's also a good idea to search the forums to find someone who's rig is going to the same destination as yours and who has posted the stops along the way. For those going to Granger, my stops are in my signature.
If your Bronco going by rail, keep in mind that shipping isn't necessarily a straight shot. There are many stops along the way. Depending on cargo, rail cars may get loaded and off-loaded along the route. Also, engineers and conductors have to adhere to strict working hours (12-hour days, I think) and may have to be relieved once the maximum is reached. That could be at a station, junction or in the middle of nowhere. For example, I met a conductor who had to pull over in a remote area and wait for the company to send a helicopter to swap out the crew! Also, trains carrying priority cargo (i.e. UPS/mail and trains meeting a ship to off load their cargo) take precedence, meaning other trains have to pull off in the cut and let those trains pass. This can take some time considering some of these trains are a couple of miles long.

And finally, once your Bronco is off loaded at its final rail yard, it still needs to be transported to the dealership via a car hauler. This could be quick or, considering we still have a trucker shortage, take some time to find someone willing to take the load. My Bronco has been sitting at the rail yard less than three hours from the dealership for a few days now. Patience is definitely a virtue!

Hope this info helps to understand the process and set expectations regarding this part of the journey. May you all get your Broncos soon!

I found the CSX voice prompt tracking to be a pain especially when there is background noise. I used touch tones:

1# (to get location)

81814192# (Railcar Car Initials mine were TTGX. You need to spell it out with a number which the letter occurs on the keypad. Then a number indicates the position of the letter on the keypad.)

254837# (Railcar no.)

## (Indicate no more railcars)

I think mine is at the alliance depot in the Dfw area probably waiting for a car transporter. The last leg is the hardest since I can’t track it anymore.
Were you able to access your Ford App? Mine still says that it can’t activate.
