Ugh, checked with chat today and it’s still waiting for a railcar. 100% certain my EDD will be pushed back yet again (current estimate is 1/6-1/12) since it’s coming to FL and it hasn’t even left Michigan yet.

Per Chat: Shipped via Belt Railway Co of Chicago and is waiting to get picked up by next "hand-off"


Spoke to my dealership today. Submitted all out paperwork negotiated extended warranty to match Granger within ~$100.

Looking to be around 4% through our local CU. We are both 800+ fico.

Spoke with a Ford rep on Friday, I was trying to get a real-time update on my Bronco. They informed me that it was delivered on 12/22, but to a different dealer.

Called my dealer and told them what that Ford rep told me. She said they were wrong and that my Bronco is sitting at the Mira Loma Union Pacific rail yard waiting for a truck convoy to transport it to the dealer.

Does anyone know the expected wait time from the rail yard to the dealer? Am I just at the mercy of the truck drivers and if they have the manpower and availability?
I drive by Mira Loma yard daily to the office. I can go scope it out 🤣

So I’m assuming if we were one of the ones that got rejected by United Road then there is no other way to track the vehicle from rail yard to dealership?

Going on 5 weeks of my vehicle being in shipped status. To go by convoy less than 100 miles from MAP. Last update from Ford was an email on 12/13 that my delivery ETA was pushed out 2 weeks to 12/25-12/31.

12/31 has come and gone - no update, no vehicle.

Jumped on chat - and found out it was pushed out to 1/14-1/20. And the chat contact readily told me I can use the tracker to get current info.... and that my dealer is the resource for me to use for update. She also communicated that there had not been any updates since it was originally changed to shipped status (huh? I have emails otherwise....).

Tracker doesn't have any ETA info included.

I feel for the dealers here - as they have NO visibility into Ford's logistics - and my dealer has been checking so often on his end on my behalf that he has my VIN memorized....

I know this group feels my frustration. Does Ford not get it?

Don’t give up hope! After mine “shipped” on 12/7, I just got a railcar number, Railcar # TTGX994091, CSX, heading to Dixiana, SC. Ford thinks it will be delivered around the 12th, but I used the CSX Touch Trace, it estimates arrival to Dixiana SC (about an hour from my home town) on the 17th. Currently in Ohio.

CSX rail car use this:
Touch Trace Telephone Tracking: Trace rail cars with Touch Trace: dial 1-877-ShipCSX (1-877-744-7279), options 2-1-3.

Well, my days of watching trackers and snacking on Tums are over.
We finally drove our Bronco home today.
I can’t say if the wait was worth it yet, but it sure feels damn good to have it.
I truly hope you all get yours soon.

Ordered 12/20/21, picked up 1/9/23, my wife (her Bronco) loves everything about it after the 100 mile drive back home. Looks amazing in person! Worth the wait, worth the delays, worth the money for sure. Hope everyone can get theirs fast and thank you for all sharing in the misery while we all waited. See y’all on/off the roads :)

I just checked with chat again, and while they assure me it has left the plant, they can't tell me anything else except to repeat the same bullshit estimates that are on the backdoor tracker. My dealer has no info either.

very interesting. So you did the Ford contact to ask for the rail car ID and they still don't have anything? My dealer gave me some screenshots around New Years that my order had been loaded, but no rail car info. A call today (to the below) yielded the rail info, then called CSX (also via below) and got the magical update that not much of anything had happened and there were no estimates for future movement.

3. When prompted for the car initials, say CN (or whatever initials you have) then wait for the next prompt.
4. When prompted for the car number, say 907048 (or whatever your number is)
5. When prompted for next car say DONE
6. That's it; enjoy your updated status report.

Yeah. I checked with Ford Chat about 30 minutes to see if any rail info was available. Nothing. Then checked with my dealer and he said "still nothing" when I asked him to check VinView. He said they have had "few people in the same boat" but that they are starting to see some movement. He said some people had been delayed for chip holds but that was never my status. I guess I'll just keep waiting like we all have been. Hope you get yours soon.
