Awesome. I guess I’ll be a mall princess (according to what I’ve learned). No major mods for me, just yet. You’ll be very happy. Worth the wait.Nice congratulations I pick mine up in the morning getting lifted Tuesday
How do you think it will help to talk to dealer? I've been in contact with mine quite a bit recently and they seem less than enthusiastic about digging to see where things are. It seems a little out of their control until it's unloaded also. Not trying to sound like a jerk, just genuinely curious.Guys - Ford was stating that my railcar was at MAP. I reached out to someone in the logistics industry and he had a ALOT more information. While I live in Atlanta I am buying from a dealership in New Orleans.
Late last night he told me my railcar was loaded on 6/28 and departed on June 29. It arrived in New Orleans on 7/6. He said there is a lot of congestion at the rail station in New Orleans and from everything he is seeing my truck has not been unloaded yet.
Needless to say I am going to call my dealership first thing this morning.
My suggestion is if you haven't called your dealership during this process I would.
I understand where you are coming from and in your situation I dont think they will be much help. I had read somewhere else on this forum that the dealership has something called a DORA and there is tracking information on it. I have no clue if they have access to more information. I can tell you that when I was visiting my dealer once he told me that there were cars sitting at the train station and there was nothing they can do but wait on them. That makes me think they know the whereabouts of cars once they start the transport journey. How do you think it will help to talk to dealer? No baby pics this AM. Rail arrived at some other location in NY last night. Still says est arrival in MA this afternoon! Fingers crossed!
Once its there, do i have any way to track its delivery to the dealer?
Congrats, I followed mine using the automated Norfolk Southern phone system as it made its way down. I got the rail car info from the dealer a few days after it shipped. For me final rail destination was Poe Yard just off of 295 outside Petersburg VA, 37.19826587560173, -77.3445784243688. It sat there about a week before it made its way down here to Goldsboro.Shipped email came through this morning. Definitely feeling real!
I just sent a text to my salesman asking if he can grab the number. He said he'll try but I guess the sales manager isn't there and he's the one that always gets that info. Sales manager never seems to be there anytime I ask a questionCongrats, I followed mine using the automated Norfolk Southern phone system as it made its way down.
