04/17/2023 Build Week

I'm a noob here... I just got my email yesterday saying I'm scheduled for 4/24/23 - I see that some on 4/17 got bumped to 4/24 but I don't see a thread or a spreadsheet yet for that group. Checking to make sure there isn't one (if anyone knows of one, can you post a link) and see who typically creates such threads for tracking...

Added myself to the spreadsheet since I've stayed week of 4-17 for a couple weeks. Original build week of 4-3 then bumped every which way in April.

I was assigned 4-20 as a build day then late last week it changed back to week of 4-17....UGH

Anyway, I'm sure I've just jinxed myself and I'll be bumped off the 4-17 week!

Been in the same merry go round. I’m good with it though. VIN acquisition was my main concern. When they build it, doesn’t matter to me, they’ll get to it sooner than later at this point. Welcome to 4-17 week.

After a bunch of bumps from different weeks, mine said 4-17 for several weeks, and after it briefly changed to 4-21 for a week, it's back to 4-17 again.

People have told me that once it starts getting dates listed that aren't Mondays, the dates are very likely the tentative build date.

So, I am guessing that for now, you and I are scheduled for Monday that week. It will probably change again as we get closer.

I'm trying not to get excited till it's actually built.

Yesterday my wife said something to the effect of - she's surprised how well I'm handling all this since I'm generally impatient. I said - Me too

However, not so sure how I'll handle it in the event it gets built and sits on some dirt/snow/mud mountain for months.....!

Been moved from 1/30 to 2/27 to 3/20 to 4/3 to 4/18/23 to 4/17/23 to 4/18/23 to 4/20/23. I feel like a ping pong ball…

I've been bounced around within the week a couple times, too. Sitting at 4/21 right now, and really hoping that I get moved again. Ford has not inspired the confidence in QA for me to feel great about a Friday build.
