02/28/22 Build Week Thread

3/3 blend. 304/1783. Built on 3-12 from what I'm told. Spoke to ford today and says now it want leave plant until April 1st. They said it was undeliverable or plant having issues sending. Who knows really. Guess it'll happen when it happens.

Same. I'm in NC, 3/3 blend, 03/09 build, 82/1783. Had an 03/23-03/31 ETA but probably delayed too. "waiting on shipment"

Took mine out to our farm today to mess around with the all the random four wheel drive options. All the controls are laid are pretty nice. I really like the sway bar disconnect and lockers are up top on the dash instead or down low like my old Rubicon. All the cameras the Lux package has are pretty handy. I don’t think I’ll be using the trail cruise control much but the one pedal is a cool feature. It worked pretty well while I was climbing around some gullies. Trail turn assist seems to work pretty good too. Being able to disconnect the sway bar mid obstacle is awesome. The GOAT modes are probably pretty cool for somebody who doesn’t know anything about using a four wheel drive system but I probably won’t be using much, at least not for general four wheel drive stuff.

Was driving by a mall car sale today and stopped and got some pics of expensive Broncos (mine is the red one). They have ten for sale with three first editions for $114k.
They asked if I was interested and I told them my Wildtrak was built and waiting to be shipped. They asked if I was trading my current Bronco in and I said depends on trade offer. The sales guy asked what I’d sell it to them for. I priced it at $93k. They said I’d probably get it……

The eagle has landed! My 3/4 blend Bronco finally arrived in Portland at Landmark Ford!

First pic was what the dealer sent me yesterday. I picked it up this afternoon. MSRP and zero hassles. Just wrote a check and that was it.

The Jolly Green Giant at home

So far very happy with her. The ride is great, the clutch is smooth, the stick has great feel as it slides into the gates.

Have you tried getting your rail car # from your dealer. My sales guy gave me mine and I was able to track mine on the CSX phone number - it was in Illinois yesterday. My eta is 4/1 - 4/7. You may have left MAP a few day before me. I am also in the Sacramento area.

Where is that train now? I see a bunch of Bronco's got dropped off in Arizona the other day. I am guessing mine is on that train or yours.

Where is that train now? I see a bunch of Bronco's got dropped off in Arizona the other day. I am guessing mine is on that train or yours.

I checked again last night. CSX tracker said Gibson Indiana. Shit, I think it is going in the wrong direction - it was in Chicago Illinois two days ago. I guess it is taking the scenic route. Who knows.

LOL, that is straight South of Chicago. Hopefully it takes a right turn soon!
