I am beyond frustrated now....3/4 blend date. 3/10 confirmed build date from dealer 3/15 official build email. original march 15-march 21 delivery date, when a no show on 3/21 called ford customer service and said there were no plant hold and no chip hold should go out on time....then march 22-march 28 and yet again march 29-april 4 delivery week, talked to ford again and said zero plant holds just waiting for shipping because they have to put it on a truck to deliver to the dealership directly across the street from assembly plant. April 4 comes and goes. Now tracker is showing 4/28-5/4 delivery window. Called dealer today and it now has a plant hold. And to think I cancelled the hard top to get it sooner. So I guess everything was all good until what?? It seems like the only people getting theirs are the ones that want to resell or the dealers for their 10k over MSRP sale units.

FWIW I have a 2.7 auto, badlands sasquatch, lux, tow, mgv and soft top. I think people will start getting really upset if we see raptors and everglades on the road while we wait for ours.

well I guess the trackers aren't very accurate... My salesman called me this morning apologizing for the new added delay, that he's doing everything he can to find out what the delay is. He said he is showing the delay on his side as a plant hold and shipping running behind. I told him not his fault and I'll be talking to him again in a couple weeks. Around noon I check all the trackers, even the shipping link and all say delay. The shipping one shows "null" with no dealer destination. Saleman calls me at 4 pm saying I should go get a lottery ticket because a truck just dropped 6 broncos and one was mine. All 6 had delivery ETA dates later in the month. They did not expect any this week. Went and did paperwork before they closed got one of the keys and once predelivery inspection is completed tomorrow it is mine. Finally. They wouldn't let me take it tonight. They have had one that was delivered and the hose clamp issue resulted in a very unhappy customer. So that is one of the many items they will be checking. Now I wonder if I will get a assembly line photo or an email saying it was shipped?

I think all the false hope was the hard part. I was fine knowing that there were delays and issues. But seeing a timeframe come and go more than once is frustrating. Once I saw the 2 week out delay it was like "whatever" and then it shows up.

that's kind of where I'm at... just sucks I had to renew my plates (initially told 2/8 build, then 2/28... built 2/28 and been on delay since then), and will have to renew my insurance. I know ill get a refund but the Bronco oddly is $300 a year cheaper than my F150, but I suppose it is what it is.. just trying to keep mileage off of it but can't drive the mustangs as its still snowing here...

Just so everyone here is clear

Ford began work with the United Parcel Service Inc. division in an effort that has already knocked four days out of the typical 14- or 15-day cycle for moving a vehicle from a manufacturing plant to a dealership

"We've had consumers get so frustrated because [they had] vacations or hunting trips coming up. They'd say, 'If you can't get the truck in time, I'm going elsewhere,' " Greiner says. "Now, we can say to customers, 'We firmly believe your truck will be here Aug. 25,' and, by golly, it shows up."

Easy -v,

It would be great to return to times where delivery was expected within two weeks and no parts delays. Our country is going to have to do a 180 and eliminate a lot of fluff before we get there...if we can even get there again.

Yes...built. I had several dates from the dealer, tracker, and emails. The emails for ford gave me hope. They were the last I heard until today when the dealer ask me if I had heard anything. They followed up with the chip update.

I forget who said it but maybe all of us on plant hold are related to chips. I’m not sure why our trackers are saying built(probably to inflate their “produced numbers”.

Seems like what I have seen is most of us on plant hold have the high or lux package. Maybe something (or multiple) things in those packages is causing our delays?

Also, any of my AZ friends get theirs this week? I recall seeing a picture from the rail yard but haven’t seen anyone take delivery

For those that are still waiting, I know every day is an eternity but it's my first full day of having mine and I hope the trackers are wrong and you all receive it soon and that they are flawless.

Either they must've doubled their QA or maybe I was simply expecting some of the issues that were brought up here and there were none so far. Even the zip tie around the washer fluid reservoir has been addressed lol. The heating element for the rear defroster seems solid. The grab handles were solid and the hard top panels were all good from what I see. I picked it up last night and drove it 150 miles today and I still find myself smiling and I keep checking up on it and sitting in the seat while it's parked. And this is coming from a bone stock vehicle.
