02/07/2022 Build Week Group

So I called Ford this morning and asked if they knew when my build date had been pushed to because I have a blend date of 2/7/22 and received a window sticker last week. My tracker also says “In Production”. The CS representative informed me that she cannot see an updated build date but she could see that my vehicle was at the assembly plant. I know I read that the trucks begin assembly several shifts before the actual blend date so maybe those that were scheduled early this week already began early assembly before the plant shutdown. Just a thought (maybe overly optimistic). I know that statements from Ford CS should be taken with a grain of salt so take this information for what it’s worth (maybe nothing lol). I’ve also seen someone point out that everyone from this build week seems to be getting pushed back to 2/21, leaving the week of 2/14 seemingly open. So maybe the week of 2/14 will be used to assemble 1/31 and some 2/7 vehicles. Just maybe….

I like your thinking. I have a 2/9 blend and called today because of no email either. She said she could see no new build date. On your hypothesis. In no man's land build week.

You could be right, I am hoping for this scenario. I have a blend date of 2/08 and I have not received an email. Maybe there were enough chips to get to a few of the early week blends.

My local dealer offered me an Outer Banks for 58K to skip the wait.

No bump-mails yet; production date week still showing 2/7, Blend still showing 2/9 on WS and dealer confirmed they still see 2/9. Maybe I'm getting small batch custom built Bronco!

My tracker shows in production and window sticker has 2/7 blend. Is there a way online to see what’s happening and/or if my build is getting paused for chips?

Just to add to the wild speculation...

I checked my WS about a million and a half times so far. Through the dozen, or so, I dowloaded yesterday, it always had 20220208 blend date, and it also had 02/02/2022 printed on the bottom. I assumed this was the date of the last update to the WS. That assumption was reinforced by no changes in the WS. Every. Damn. Time.

Out of habit, the first thing I did this morning was to find my WS. Again. Everything is the same as on the million plus I downloaded through yesterday, except that date on the bottom changed to 02/09/2022. So, I surmise that my Feb 9 update claims that 02/08 was my blend date.

I haven't gotten an email from Ford since I put the order in for a second time in October. My build week came from the backdoor link and my VIN came from my dealer. So, I don't expect any "built" or "shipped" emails moving forward.

The logical half of my brain (the right side?) says there is no way my Bronco was built during a plant shutdown, but the newly updated WS has eliminated logic from the equation, and put me in tinfoil hat territory.

My dates on my WS have stayed 02/09 but the plant is shut down. I am just hoping that we are already in the factory just waiting to be blended and we are the firrst to go next week or when they reopen.

....and get fully built, not the ones that will sit for months waiting on chips to be added. I'd rather wait another month than for this to happen.
