ford chat told me jan 25 for build date 2 weeks ago. window sticker says blend jan 24, website showed prod week of jan 23, now says week of jan 24. dates are all over the place, im just gonna let it ride since i know they change constantly. im further than i was ~515 days ago so we are happy. live in SE FL so it will still take us 2-3 months to drive it off the lot. even then its immediately going to our guy to do some customization, which will probably take a week or so.

Download FordPass, signed in, and put my vin and “registered” my bronco. And it shows up on the main screen.

thanks, when i signed in it automatically showed my bronco, but don't have that option yet. i'm sure it will show up soon.

Yeah it should, my modules popped up earlier today meaning the computers are “Alive” so that button probably came up after that

I’m a bit surprised that Ford would allow you to register the vehicle in the app before you are the owner.

Dumb question, what specifically are the modules and what are the tear tags?

I assumed the modules were basically processors installed on the vehicle responsible for things like engine control and displays, all of which could receive OTA updates from Ford.

No idea what the tear tags are.

I’m a bit surprised that Ford would allow you to register the vehicle in the app before you are the owner.

Well you cant register it, it just shows up, to activate the vehicle you would need to have access to the vehicle to connect
