So. Giving credit and recognition when it’s earned.

Just picked up my 2 dr badlands today from Kearny Mesa Ford in San Diego. No games. No markup. Had my price protection all ready on the deal terms and overall. A great buying experience. They even honored there xplan estimated discount they offered for day 1 res holders who transfered in. Saved me about $2057 off MSRP. So along w my $800 price protection certificate I was $52868 before TTL on a $55725 MSRP. N Very happy.

Eric, Tach and Alex in Finance made the last step in an insane car ordering and buying experience effortless. For ordered vehicles they are not marking up units. For units on the lot they do mark up but after having sat in the dealership on a Saturday morning you understand better why.

The 100 mile drive back to LA was fun and allowed me to get acquainted w the new ride. N good news. It fits in my parking garage. Barley but it fits. Yes I measured it but still had a little anxiety it might me a tight squeeze.

Despite having been in production since January, Ford just emailed to let me know that my bronco would go in to production at the end of July. Really don't know what to make of the few rare messages I get from them.

Update- and realized that the latest email has a different VIN.

you def don't need $250 wheel locks from them - everything else is pretty typical although i don't know how they came up with their doc fee and non tax fee numbers but everyone has their doc and dmv fees

Not too bad. Fees totaled 730.00 which in CA is about normal. Btw. MSRP of the wheel locks is 90.00 straight off my window sticker. Would grind ur dealer on that one. Mine did not charge additional labor for them.

Thanks. Don’t laugh but Had to Google how to open the back trunk window. Guess u have to have the tailgate at 90 degree angle or it’s a no go. Was like why isn’t this thing opening. .

No idea. When I tried checking the status with that vin, it gave me an error. In March they sent me an email congratulating me for my order. I assume it is just another misfire from ford.

Post purchase follow up. Everything went smooth with the purchase. Ernest McCarty Ford honored MSRP, no ADM, no doc fees. Went with financing through the dealer at a local credit union, MSCU. 48 months @ 2.00% with no dealer mark up. Once I got home, realized we did not include the $100 initial reservation fee Ford charged as part of the down payment. Called the dealer and they advised they will have a check out to me the first of the week. Put almost 200 local miles on it this weekend. Couldn’t be happier with how it performs.
