  1. EDIT: I did something dumb in my Bronco today and really lucked out…Don’t mess with ice!

Manual transmissions are always good at dominating ice. Think of it just like Olympic curling. The brush guy just brushes the ice as fast as can to guide the spin of the stone thing. I may live in Hawaii but my formative driving years were in Ohio and I used to run a 24ft (box size) box truck...
  2. Official Debut: Everglades Bronco: Specs, Video, Photos, Pricing, Availability

Squatch is mainly shocks, lockers and gearing(210 front). Nobody cares about the beadlock-capable(fake beadlock) wheels. So its Black-squatch with High package, snorkel, winch, rock rails, roof racks, etc. If all that is standard it is a deal you cant build it for that price.
  3. The MEGABRONC

Its coming to a trailer park near you, is what it is :ROFLMAO: 🤟
  4. NIGHTMARE!!! Intersection Accident

Glad you are okay and totally unsure of the exact details of the wreck. But more than once, during what I like to call bumper car weather back in ohio, I specifically stayed in 2wd in my 4x4s, one for reserving 4x4 for getting stuck. On snow and ice 4h or 4 low arent much likely to get you out...
  5. Cool or cheesy?

Yeah remember that guy who used to walk up and whip a chair out of hiss ass like magic?
  6. Cool or cheesy?

    Its in our charter!
  7. Anyone know what this is for?

Looks like a weight plate storage bar with a olympic size adapter. Maybe used for payload testing? Also looks like a total posers home made bed mounted baja tire carrier.
  8. Bronco totaled in head-on collision accident, but you should see the other guy! [Updates From Owner]

That sucks but damn it held up well. Get out the big hammer, a 5.0, a TR4050, and a dana 44 and you are back on the road.
  9. Anyone affected by the Fires in Colorado ?

Looks rough, gotta say having a decent vehicle and equipment is the lil boy scout in me telling me to be prepared. My Comanche always has comprehensive tool set, drill, sawzall, impact, 500ft paracord, 250ft of recovery line/straps, 4 shackles, 2 36" straps, winch, light/heavy comealongs...
  10. First a deer and now Bronco rollover. Stay safe out there! ❄

Glad you are okay. its on page 6 so I wont ask or critique your driving or modes. But I will remind others on snow and ice to use 4A or 4H but do not engage lockers unless forward momentum has become hard. A locked axle will cause a tire to slide if there is any steering input at all.
  11. Bronco questions

Well maybe we should call cars saloons, and anything bigger a lorry. Whatcha think govner?
  12. 6 days old and broken into!!

Well that sucks, but we got to remember criminals are car buyers too. They probably just had to get a better look at the MGV since they didnt take anything. Again that sucks. We dont have that kind of theft here. Here you just keep your vehicle dirty and leave it open. Gotta be a rental to get...
  13. 4A Power Distribution

Sounds right to me. Unlike a FWD based AWD the transfer case acts like an open diff in 4A. And 4H is like locking that diff. It may have a clutch or LSD of some sort in it but it is not locked per say. I think if traction controls are all off and you were spinning tires up a hill you might...
  14. Bronco 1975 vs. Bronco 2021

Yeah sorry im 37 and havent ever bought into the luxury stuff yet. Unless you are talking a 70s van with a bed, thats lux! There have been plenty classics go 300,000 plus. BMW or honda would never make that with me because I just wouldnt drive em. This isnt a matter of who is right. Its...
  15. Bronco 1975 vs. Bronco 2021

I just drove a 1980 Amc Eagle cross country on 28" superswampers 3 years ago. No big deal. 3 years before that it was a 79 Econoline 250 4x4. Been across country in several 70s and 80s E150s. Old junk is what I do. Honestly everytime I think new I get excited and very scared at the same time...
  16. Bronco 1975 vs. Bronco 2021

Give me a new motor, new trans, new axles, and new wiring AND a 3 year 50,000 mile warranty and I would absolutely prefer the 1975, wouldnt care if the the interior smelled like 1975 and the body was all dented and scratched(no rot though). A simple engine with simple systems, no tv in the dash...
  17. Factory Floor Liners vs Weathertech ?

Use the weathertechs and put the fords in the attic and use em for car shows.
  18. Finally drove a 2dr 7MT Badlands

I cant wait to try the manual, right now im torn between a 2dr base and and the cheapest 4dr badlands i can get. Definitely no reason to even consider a auto. Cant, wont, and never again.
  19. My Bronco Experiment Backfired! (In a good way?)

Okay new plan since they are auto, your only option what to do is simple. Tame the Broncos! Take the roofs off. Get a 2 planks. Attach them in a manner allowing pivot at the cage and frame. Get some forscan wizard to hack the drive by wire systems and link them. Then buy a racing seat and...
  20. My Bronco Experiment Backfired! (In a good way?)

2 questions. Are they manual? If so may I buy one off you after I talk to my wife and beg my bank?
