I set up the Ford Racing account without the voucher. I didn't register the ProCal tool beforehand. I gave the dealer the unopened Procal tool box. The voucher was inside the ProCal tool box.
My understanding is that the ProCal unit is registered to a specific VIN, and can only be used with that specific vehicle. 100% designed to force you to buy their $50 ProCal unit for $400.
At least it does other stuff. You can change the gear ratios if you upgrade your axle, and correct your...
If you want control of your tune, you want the ProCal unit tied to your account, not a dealer account.
Register an account here: https://performanceparts.ford.com/register/ It's different from your regular Ford account.
In your profile, there will be a section to download the ProCal software...
Ford cancelled mine, told me that, even though it's 50 state legal, there's another list of products Ford can't ship to CA, and the tune is in the list. I ordered from Tire Rack, their sale price right now is close to the Ford discounted price.
I created an account on Ford Racing and gave the...
There were two holes drilled for the screws for the paddles, and some of the rubber/foam was cut away. Here are pics of the two sides:
Here is a picture of the BRaptor wheel showing how the paddles attach:
If you don't want to add paddles, the plastic back of the wheel completely covers...
The "feeling every dime" thing is more the shock valving/piston, and less the spring. Bilstein shocks are going to feel similar, they run digressive pistons, so you get a lot of low speed damping, and feel every pebble. Bilstein, Eibach, Icons are generally digressive. Fox, King, ADS, Dobinsons...
Do you know the preload of the Pro Truck 2.0 coilovers? It's the difference between the uncompressed spring length and the spring length installed in the coilover at max extension.
There's 3.25" preload on the HOSS 2.0 front, and 2" preload on the HOSS 2.0 rear. I did a teardown here...
I swapped my Badlands wheel for a Raptor wheel. The forum member I purchased the Raptor wheel from included a wheel that he modified to work with Raptor paddle shifters. So, I am selling two wheels. The silver surround and buttons are separate from the wheel, so if you just want the leather...
First Phillips head vs. Pozidriv, now this! I double-checked the Torx bit that came with my Ford Bronco roll-up toolkit, and it is indeed marked TP50. I accidentally did it right!
I swapped out my Badlands wheel for a Raptor wheel. I had a tough time getting the airbag off, so I took some pics to hopefully help people doing the same thing - either swapping wheels, upgrading to leather, or installing an aftermarket wheel.
The inside of the wheel without the airbag looks...
Trading in your Bronco? Swap bumpers with me before you do, and make some extra dough! If you don't want to swap, I'm willing to buy outright, as well.
I'm in the San Diego area, willing to swap at my place or yours, I've got tools if you don't.
Pics of bumper, no dings or scratches, fog...
