Hello all, ok so I installed my roof light bar and ran the wire under the window cowl where there is a notch.(didn’t wanna drill holes, run under seals or mess with siliconing anything)
It bolted back down almost flush like it was but there is a little bit of a gap as opposed to being flush...
I’ve read every outlet about running through the weather stripping but I’m gonna be running the light bar wire down the edge of the windshield and hiding the wire using a KC lites wire hider.
Not the cleanest look but
not wanting to chance any water leaking. Especially through the top.

with me running a light bar wire through that gap.
Is that gonna be letting excess water into the inside of the cowl that could possibly get inside the cab or send water through the engine bay or does the cowl have some kinda drain where it...
Hello all, wanting to add a light bar to my 22 black diamond, no drill just running a cable down the window into the engine bay.
For light bars and ditch lights I see running the wire under the window cowl is a popular option.
My question is, with running the wire under the cowl is that bad...
