May be a dumb question but I’m curious if feeding the kicker key 500.1 from only the left front speaker via speaker level inputs would be limiting my overall input signal vs taking from both the left and right front speakers. I have it bridged going into the connector at the amp (ie. both the...
I do have the factory sub and am running both. I took the signal upfront as folks have mentioned that the 2025 subs run through a different DSP (A2B) and not suitable to run signal to a key 500.1
I have non-B&O
Hey all,
Question about Kicker Key 500.1. I have a 2025 Bronco and am running signal from my front left speaker to Kicker Key 500.1 to a kicker sub.
Everything is working great now and have it dialed in quite nicely but one thing I’m curious about is that I have to have the Hi/Lo switch on...
Thanks for detailed response. Makes sense!
I solved my issue with running switched to window fuse under dash but hopefully this thread will help others that might experience the same
I did yes, did it prior when max volume I could do was 19 and had to max the gain to gain match. After running a remote wire I was able to do it at volume 23 and gain is at about 2 o’clock.
I also reran the algorithm after using remote wire and all sounds awesome now
I just ended up running a remote wire to #2 fuse under steering column.
fyi, for anyone that is having troubles setting the gain or using the gain match with Kicker Key 500.1, at least on a 2025 Bronco, with audio signal coming from Kick panel speakers on driver side, once you hit volume 20 or...
Hello everyone,
Curious if you’ve experienced this before. I have a key 500.1 getting audio signal from driver kick speaker. I have the amp wired to turn on via DC Offset and it works great except at volume 20+ the amp loses power (not protection mode, green light shuts off like the DC Offset...
