Cool. Towing with an F350 with 30klb hitch Torklift Stinger setup. Receiver height on the top receiver is ~15” while recovery points where adapters for tow bar are ~25”😳. Needless to say it’s low to begin with requiring a ball mount that’s ~8” high to get the tow bar within acceptable level...
Thanks for reply. Was it easy to find connecters - I believe they are behind rear pillar trim and/or quarter trim panels. You run rest of wire run under scuffs and lower pillar trims @ "B" pillar?
Well since the only images with cables in them are the ones I provided in my post above. Secondly those cheap quick connects that are shown attaching the cables to that tow hook are the weakest link in the setup and I wouldn't trust my setup using them. I do not care what those cables are...
Anyone have any tips for the install of this harness and I assume some how get the tow vehicle power to the harness for the lights and Demco unit . Need to get this done and then move onto the Demco Stay and Play for my 2024 Bronco.
Leaning toward the Rambler Tow Bar form Curt and adapters to...
For shiz and giggles I measured the hole pattern on mine when I swapped out the factory installed "D" rings with the Ford Performance Tow Hooks to adapt to various tow bars (hopefully) they came in @ ~2 1/4" x 6 1/8". So no don't think they will even be close.
Really like the idea of using existing existing studs and mounting points👌
Thoughts at the moment are to perhaps go with a non mechanical cabled brake system to eliminate another piece of hardware exiting the front end to make it a cleaner look when not flat towing.
The Demco Stay and Play...

Does anyone know if these adapters will hook up and function properly on the Falcon 2 Tow Bar

The issue I had with the Blue Ox Base Plate for the Bronco also the Roadmaster Base Plate were those tongues hanging down below the adapters to the tow bar. They really didn't look beefy enough - perhaps I am wrong if you were high centered or up to the rockers in heavy mud needing a recovery...
I would think recovering the vehicle would stress the recovery points to the max. No? Continuous pulling of a vehicle rolling would be less stress imo. Loading those points with a recovery rope while the vehicle is stuck or high centered would create the most stress.
In any case I would more...
I only guessing here - not an engineer by definition but I think those spindley wire safety cables would fail much sooner if the tow bar or something else happened to enable the tow vehicle to become un attached than the 6 torqued bolts holding the recovery points to the frame.
Nice setup. Currently trying to get a setup for 2024 2 DR Heritage with Capable Bumper. Had "D" in front and replaced with same tow hooks you have except yours are black which I prefer. Ones I went with Ford Performance Tow Hooks came in Red/Blue/Orange. Were yours black and were they OEM...
No to the units that sit on the floor between seat and brake pedal.
No to a floor mounted unit that sits between set and brake pedal. I was looking at the ready brake system and wonder if the cable that runs form that surge hardware needs to come back on centerline of tow vehicle and the...
Okay first step (pretty easy) was ordering and installing Performance Tow Hooks in place of the factory installed "D" rings. Still need adapters that will fit and work with 3rd party tow bars. Next up I am planning on tackling the supplemental brake system unless I get feed back on other...
2024 Bronco 2 Door Heritage
