Do you have any early tips? Like where to insulate, especially the roof. I replaced my stock speakers with a Hertz DCX system, and upgraded the rear pods to 6.5”, along with FORSCAN. I also made sure to put Kilmat behind the kick panel speakers and inside of the pods. I had some extra kilmat...
This is a different perspective than most on here: I would have done more research on the ownership experience. I got mine 2.5 years ago so maybe there just wasn’t enough information yet, but I think I’m ready to trade mine in for something else. Some of my reasons:

I bought some Kilmat from Amazon for my speaker upgrade, I put some behind the kick panel speakers, and in the speaker pods. I have quite a bit left over, is there somewhere I can put it for extra sound deadening in the cabin?

After all this, seems going for an upgrade without amps is kind of not worth it, but I’m not confident enough in my ability to add an amp and wire it to the battery. Maybe I can replace the dash and rear speakers myself and take it to an audio shop to add the amp.
Wanted to ask if replacing the factory speakers on my 4-Door OBX without B&O is worth it. I have been looking at getting the 6 Kicker CS speakers from Crutchfield but wanted to avoid adding an amp.
Got a rock chip, and it seems to have spread quickly. Is it repairable or do I need to replace the windshield? If replacement is needed, should I push for OEM windshield or is aftermarket fine?
