After all this, seems going for an upgrade without amps is kind of not worth it, but I’m not confident enough in my ability to add an amp and wire it to the battery. Maybe I can replace the dash and rear speakers myself and take it to an audio shop to add the amp.

So looking at Crutchfield, it says the Hertz DCX don’t fit, but seems people install them just fine. Has anyone had any trouble with them?

What do you mean by efficiency? Are there more “efficient” speakers than Kickers?
