You can see mine contacting at the right side of the photo and I don’t know if spring orientation would resolve it either because it’s pretty tight.
What
How much lift are you running? I’m beginning to wonder if I have too much lift causing extra bow on the spring and making it contact my uca. I measured and realized I’m about 3.13” lift in the front from the hd spring and the coil over adjusted just 20mm or more under its max recommended...
I just figured out I’m netting 3.1” of lift in the front from the hd springs and the current coilover adjustment and am wondering if that’s what causing the issue if I lowered the coil over maybe it could resolve? I’m going to have to contact eibach.
I’ll have to look at mine jacked full droop drivers side and I’ll post it up here but based on the spring mark it has to be rubbing slightly. Not sure why mine would rub but yours wouldn’t though on an identical setup. I do have the 500lb springs though instead of the ones that come on there.
I have the hd springs on the coilovers. They didn’t rub in daily driving. But just got back from wheeling and saw the slight mark where they had rubbed. I assume from full droop and flexing.
I didn’t they were shop installed. But everything appeared correct. I’ll have to take a look again today. Not sure how it’s possible to retorque bushing bolt after lubing and it’s loose but that’s a other problem haha.
I wasn’t sure how to retorque that bolt after loosening lol. No worries. Not sure why my uca contacts the spring slightly. I just assumed someone else had to be experiencing this too . Maybe spring orientation if I can rotate it possibly?
Did you loosen the main bolt to lube bushings of the uca? I didn’t think that would affect spring contact at the coilover of the uca. Way under 10k miles for bushings and joint though.
I have icon tubular ucas with eibach coilovers temporarily and am having a slight rubbing on the coilover spring on the front. I’m not sure how to resolve the issue as the lift isn’t even maxed on the front and should only net 2.5” maybe over sas height. I do have heavier springs on but not...
