I got it working again fine. I then found that some DTC's will cause this behavior. Basically system gets to some kind of limp mode. I was able to cause it with FORscan (accidentally) and then reset again by factory reset. So this "Limp" mode has VVT OFF. It is super quiet and weird. But...

Wrong! It increases timing, and with 93 Octane you get better fuel consumption. So you can feel it, and if you get the performance module it is 93 oct mandatory so more timing bigger bang. And the software glitch I just described, the power change was super obvious. Ford has some kind of...

I just brought my 2024 7MT to the dealership for this, 3rd got bad, only 23K miles...

I use it, seems like it works fine,, but i got no real comparison, ill have to try the shell and see if i notice anything...

I got no problem with mine. Turbo is OFF unless I give it extra throttle. Boost increases as it should and releases when it has to on my 2024 7MT Big Bend. That is too bad, the dealer has got to be able to have a solution. Obviously it can work fine...

Anybody know if the valve issue is in the 2024 2.3L? I got the 7MT, only like 9000 miles, but the valves themselves could be the same steel forgings. I guess this is my first time hearing about it.

Y Yeah that soft top packaging is a bear to maneuver. Not designed for a move and storage system at all.
