  1. No audio from any source – 22WT

Update: It was the amp. I have my car back and the sound works. Total cost was $1700; warranty covered it in full.
  2. No audio from any source – 22WT

Update: It was not the cables. Next on their list to check is the amp; the warranty is sending an inspector. I am happy that I work from home and that my wife also sometimes works from home.
  3. No audio from any source – 22WT

Update: dealer advised me that my extended warranty will cover the parts. Apparently some cables are being replaced. Sounds easy enough, other than taking apart the dash—hopefully that solves the issue. Parts should be there in just a few more days. I have no idea what labor is looking like or...
  4. No audio from any source – 22WT

Update: Finally brought it to the dealer. I had some events upcoming that required use of my car. Turns out I bought an extended warranty when I got this car. Time will tell if it's good for anything.
  5. No audio from any source – 22WT

None, obd2 was wholly unhelpful (which is good—nothing is wrong with the car other than this sound issue)
  6. No audio from any source – 22WT

On a hunch, I just replaced the battery. It had no effect on the issue. I had no indication to expect a bad battery, as the voltage read fine from the dash, it starts on the first crank, and my dad's OBD2 tool indicated no issues, but it's the original battery and you only get around 3 years...
  7. No audio from any source – 22WT

I've just last night checked the speakers and the amp and nothing seems to be shorted. More and more convinced it's software. If there was a wiring problem, why after 3 years? I haven't even taken this poor thing onto the dirt in over a year to rattle things loose. I was thinking it could be...
  8. No audio from any source – 22WT

Can you link me to a post if you can find one? Would appreciate getting more details on this
  9. No audio from any source – 22WT

If it was, the "audio volume" popup would be stuck on the screen. I've also never spilled anything in the vehicle. I did mess with both the knob and the steering controls though.
  10. No audio from any source – 22WT

No luck with the battery. Very cool. Guess it's off to the dealer. ETA: I really, really, really don't want this to go from "$250 for pressing some buttons on a computer to fix software" to "$1400 to replace the head unit because the technician made a mistake and bricked it"—any advice on...
  11. Volume control knob not adjusting. Just sits at zero.

I think I have the same issue, experiencing the same symptoms and tried all the same fixes to no joy. I think my warranty ran out a few months ago which is just peachy.
  12. No audio from any source – 22WT

Fuse is ok. I did find this post: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/stereo-volume-issue.28924/ This post does not contain the fix the dealership may have applied, but it at least makes me feel less alone.
  13. Stereo Volume Issue

I think I have this same issue. Thought it was something messed up with SYNC for the longest time. FM, bluetooth, AA, sirius, no audio source makes sound. Fuse is good. Guess it's the dealership for me too. They timed it really well, as my warranty just ran out a couple months ago :)
  14. No audio from any source – 22WT

I have done 0 mods to the car. I should also add that twiddling the volume knob fails to change the volume—it seems to be stuck at 0. That maybe? lines up with a bad fuse. Here's hoping. I can check soon
  15. No audio from any source – 22WT

Hi guys. For the past 3 days, I've been unable to make my vehicle produce one singular sound from the speakers with any source. Not wireless AA, not radio, not bluetooth, not wired, not even sirius. Additionally the noise for startup alerts and the parking sensors sounds different—harsher and...
