It’s a tight fit but it does fit. Make sure you have patience and time when you start. Takes more time to get the plugs connected to the lights than it does to run the wire to the front

Flat tow it!
It was designed to flat tow and it’s a lot easier than screwing around with a trailer. Commit to spending a couple bucks on the bronco. Don’t waste your money on a hideous baseplate. If you don’t have a modular bumper, spend you money on that (and tow off of the recovery points)...
We use a Roadmaster tow bar. Curt adapters to the factory recovery points on the modular bumper. LOD bumper tie in brackets. Curt plug and play wiring harness. And blue ox patriot brake system.
