  1. Sasquatch Tire conundrum

My Dad's sasquatch has had multiple punctures, and only has about 7500 miles on it. Even sharp gravel on his access road one time. Those Goodyears aren't the greatest for toughness. Maybe call Les Schwab and see if they have a set of suitable used tires you could buy? Sometimes, those are a...
  2. Would you Revert to Old Times?

Some, not all. I don't love the nannies - lane keep assist, etc., which I have turned off. I also wish my '24 had a CD player....yeah, I know I can mp3 my collection and run it off a thumb drive, which I will. My '79 Bronco [no longer have it] was a good truck, but the new one blows it away...
  3. 2.3 Exhaust preference

Anyone using the AWE "Climber," exhaust on a 2 dr., 2.3L? I have used their exhausts before and have really liked them. Maybe versus the Borla Touring?
  4. 2024 Badlands - to SAS or Not

I think suspension wise, you are correct - less than an additional inch of lift. Having 35" tires on the sasquatch units may help some as well. I would say sasquatch 2 doors feel a bit more softly sprung compared with the standard badlands suspension to my carcass, anyway.
  5. 2024 Badlands - to SAS or Not

A standard Badlands with 33s will get you a long ways. I did the Bronco Off-Rodeo this past Friday, and there was one standard Badlands in our group - they made it everywhere everyone else did with Sasquatch-equipped Broncos and didn't hit or drag. If you're going to modify anyway, then maybe...
  6. Debating on 2.3 vs 2.7 engine?

The 2.3L is fun to rev out, and makes good power - also not vibey at higher rpm. I just towed an enclosed motorcycle trailer to and from Thunderhill with mine and turning 3700 rpm in 4th (75 mph) to pull up and over steep slopes on I-80 didn't seem to phase it at all. (2 dr. Badlands, non-SAS)...
  7. Are the stock squatch tires really that bad?

    I think you're right!
  8. Are the stock squatch tires really that bad?

My Dad's Wildtrak has the Goodyears, and I wouldn't say he/we have had a lot of luck with them. Throwing rocks like crazy [he lives on a gravel road, so an issue], and they seem to be prone to flats - have had three in about 9,000 miles. Two of those were rock shards working their way down...
  9. Borla Touring Exhaust Install / Review / Sound Clips on 2.3 Bronco

Nicely done, thank you for posting. I'm thinking about the referenced exhaust or an AWE climber for my '24, 2.3L 7MT. I have already installed the Ford tow package on mine. How much difficulty do you think that would add to the installation? Do you think I'd need to remove and reinstall...
  10. Bad Clutch Smell after Driving to the Mountains

Maybe flush the fluid? I don't know the interval Ford recommends for that but should be done every 2 years, generally. When I've seen/smelled this kind of thing on motorcycles with smelly clutches, it's usually been a leaking/weak slave cylinder issue. My 2024 has about 1500 miles on it...
  11. Used owner, what do y'all think these are for?

Late to this.....was going to guess they'd shut off the illumination to license plates and running lights so you can disappear after a heist! Steve McQueen optioned at least one of his cars [maybe a 911?] with that so he could disappear if chased.🚘🏁
  12. Need help picking color!

Green - it's very tasteful in person.
  13. Finishing up Bronco Tool Kit

Not to be repetitive - I put this in another tool thread as well. Having a way to fix a leaking hose is, I think, important. Maybe unlucky, but I've had to do that twice. A couple of extra hose clamps of various sizes to hold the patch on until you make it out can be a lifesaver. I happened...
  14. 2024 2dr. 7 MT Badlands delivered, but Ford withheld options

Glad to read your options made it - mostly! There must be a different harness for the tow package compared with previous years. My dealership had to order it separately from a different warehouse, which took a week to arrive. My mounting plate for the wiring harness (now installed) does...
  15. 2024 2dr. 7 MT Badlands delivered, but Ford withheld options

I will watch for that sale, thank you. At least some hood struts and an engine cover will happen soon. As to DIA, it seemed news to my dealer that none of these things would be with the Bronco, and there was no sign that Ford intended to ship them separately. They were just notably absent...
  16. Why would there be 80 miles on new Bronco?

Mine had the testing sticker in it, too - as seen a couple of posts up from mine, but only 29 miles on it when I took delivery.
  17. Ford Performance Calibration Tune for 2.3L Bronco's AVAILABLE NOW! - Lethal Performance

Also interested in 2024 2.3L Ford Performance tune. Haven't seen anything that says its ready.
  18. Bronco January 2024 Sales & Production: 7,427 Sold / 12,143 Produced

So far as selling themselves, it seems that particular configurations in particular climates don't do well, no matter the salespersons. When I picked up my 2024 about 10 days ago, I noticed my dealer still had a couple of 4-dr. soft tops, which I first saw there in early October. As we have...
  19. Anybody pulled over by cops for tires poking out from fender flares?

I used to live in western Oregon, where there's a lot of winter rain. A lot of lifted/stanced vehicles get pulled over on I-5 for the spray they throw at speed. One of my acquaintances was pulled over fairly frequently in Eugene for his extra-wide tired Taco raising spray like a broad fire...
  20. 2024 2dr. 7 MT Badlands delivered, but Ford withheld options

No, I hadn't seen those side moldings - certainly hideous! The body armor is on the four corners of the Bronco, and they don't look too bad in person. I'll certainly run the Bronco for a while before modifying it with a spring, etc. So far, it feels fine. I'd have to agree the manual...
