  1. MPG Correction via Engineering Mode or Forscan?

Thank you Calvin for replying to this old thread. I tried it again in the '24 Sport, with the door open and closed. Still no love
  2. side mirror wire connectors

I know this is an old thread, but thought for history my experience might help someone one day. My mirror glass broke when the mirror was impacted. Bought a replacement glass on Amazon for $15. Used the old broken mirror to see how the wiring was to the circuit. The silvery piece is just a...
  3. Need Left Front Body Parts After Crash.

Found most everything needed. Will try to straighten the Capable bumper, but if anyone has one locally (Phoenix area) I'd be interested. Thank you.
  4. Drilling holes for parking sensors in factory bumper.

Has anyone had experience installing factory parking sensors in a stock metal bumper that did not have the holes for the parking sensors? i bent my bumper (Capable) and can easily find used version without the 2 holes (one on each corner) for the parking sensors. I can see it's a round hole...
  5. Grille Shutter Delete? Want to maximize cooling

Thank you, but yes, the whole drivers side is broken/trashed. I'm thinking that without replacing it, even tho I would just as soon forgo the shutter, I need it to mount the headlights?
  6. Grille Shutter Delete? Want to maximize cooling

I know this is an old thread, but I hope someone will respond if they have deleted their upper shutter. Mine is mangled along with the grill and drivers side headlight due to an encounter with a deer at 65mph. I'm thinking about removing that upper shutter, but the bottom tab on the headlights...
  7. Need Left Front Body Parts After Crash.

Starting to search for parts to repair our '23 Badlands SAS after hitting a deer on I17 between Flagstaff and Phoenix. Please see the pic and if you are local to AZ and have anything you think might work, please let me know, grille, outside mirror glass, signature headlight, SAS fender flare...
  8. MPG Correction via Engineering Mode or Forscan?

Thanks for the reply Beach! It's disappointing to know that the AFE Bias can not be adjusted in Forscan. That was to be my backup :). Yes, I started out on a smaller Sport forum and others with earlier Sports can enter Engineering Mode with the same steps used on the Big Broncos. My...
  9. MPG Correction via Engineering Mode or Forscan?

I have used Engineering Mode to correct the mpg shown to reflect more closely the real world calculated mpg on our '23 Bronco. We recently purchased a '24 Bronco Sport and one of the first things I did was try to enter Engineering Mode. I've tried every permutation I can find to no avail. I...
  10. FordPass App v5.0 Launched

Just updated some apps on my Android phone today including Fordpass. Had been on 4.33.0. Saw changes including having to give Google my firstborn to see location on a map. Thought FU. Deleted the app got the apk for 4.33.0 and sideloaded it. All is well again!
  11. Key Fob Programming MUST DO (to have fully functioning OEM key fob spares)

Would be nice to know if it can be done by an owner or requires a dealer or locksmith. Let us know please if you find out.
  12. Key Fob Programming MUST DO (to have fully functioning OEM key fob spares)

Air Tags only work within Bluetooth (close) range of Apple devices that have not had sharing disabled. Probably not much use if I lose my Bronco key out in the boondocks away from crowds of iPhones:unsure:.
  13. Key Fob Programming MUST DO (to have fully functioning OEM key fob spares)

I saw that in the manual and wondered, say you have 4 like the OP and lose one. You want a fourth again for whatever reason. You still have 3 so you can program, but the Bronco thinks you have 4. How do you delete the one you lost so you can program a "new" fourth?
  14. Where is external temperature sensor on the Bronco?

This is an old thread, but thanks to the search function I found it and thanks to Flip for the explanation. I was 4-wheeling a week ago for a couple days and noticed that the outside temp display did not change until I got back on a road and at a decent speed. I figured it had something to do...
  15. Cheap Key Fob for 23 Manual Xmission Bronco

I promised a report after 60 days. It's been 61 and still working fine. Seems like a great alternative to a $350 bill from a dealer.
  16. "Close" Warning Display - How to Disable?

THANK YOU both! It makes sense now - has to do with a parking assist. Since I don't need it for that, I will turn it off permanently. It will be sooo nice not to get that warning anymore!
  17. "Close" Warning Display - How to Disable?

I bet this is a dumb question due to my lack of appreciation for all the technology on this Bronco, but I've searched the owners printed and the internal manual and can not find the answer - or am just too dense to recognize it. When I use the Bronco in one of it's intended uses (off road 4x4) I...
  18. Operation "Raise Factory Running Boards"

Good point, but here in AZ It would likely last a long time being out of the sun, especially if painted well.
  19. Operation "Raise Factory Running Boards"

WOW, just found this thread. My Badlands came with rock sliders. The darn SAS tires threw rocks from day one and chiped the paint. I bought a set of the stock steps used here and replaced the rock sliders. They protect the bottom of the doors from rocks thrown by the tires, but lowered the...
  20. Cheap Key Fob for 23 Manual Xmission Bronco

Thank you for sharing your experience. As a Ford service advisor would you please let us know what your dealership charges for the Ford oem fob and programming? I will make a note on my calendar to update my experience in 60 days, or sooner if it craps out in the next month or two. The seller...
