Our 2022 Badlands is working fine, but the lower trim, lower optioned Black Diamond 2-door is still saying 1 American Rd, Dearborn MI. Ugh!
I also have version 6.1.
Here is my theory:
For the Sync systems that do not have any on-board nav (like you only have CarPlay), there is some new glitch...
Wow - really - it has an electric coolant pump? I am guessing that is in addition to a standard mechanical pump too.(?)
Does yours making a beeeeeeeeeping sound, like:
beeeeeeep beeeeeeeeeeeeep beeeeeeeeeep
silence for a minute...
beeeeeeep beeeeeeeeeeeeep beeeeeeeeeep
Like that?
We now have two Broncos, both 2-door Sasquatch. The new 2023 one has 500 miles and squeaks from front left when going over bumps in the road slowly. It sounds like an OLD car. Also it makes beeps when parked and left alone. Also, it has the wiper motor issue where it shuts down when it rains.
Can you tell me what you found out?
We have the same squeak from our 2023 Black Diamond Sasquatch 2-door, front left.
Was that front left also?
Please let us know what has happened since...
Yes, I hear clicks and clacks too - and presumably the fuel pump initialize when opening the door too. This one is just some electronic long beeeep sound when completely off and just standing around or walking by.
Usually seems to happen within an hour of shutting the vehicle off.
For the past few days, we have noticed that when the Bronco (this one is a new 2023 silver Black Diamond 2-door, 2.7L) is parked, there is a beeping noise from under the hood.
We could be standing next to it, walking by, checking the mail....and then: beep (more like beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep for...
Okay - update: Day 2 after the new motor...
Things are a bit different than what I thought on Day 1 after the new motor, but its still good, really good.
On Day 1 after the new motor, I had thought constant Low and constant High were like ordinary Low and High, and that Interval settings now...
Okay everyone!
2022 Bronco Badlands 2-Door, built in Nov 2022, took delivery Dec 2023. We had the wiper issue since Day 1.
Today, I requested the dealership change out the wiper motor - it fixed it!
Tested it four times today, all good!
This is my new thinking on this whole thing, I'm not...
That is what we are having too on our Bronco.
Apparently there is some sort of new system that detects load of the wipers dragging on the windshield - but something seems wrong to us - as if the programming of this system is off, way off - cutting power even when the windshield is being hit by...
Can you please tell us what it said on your Dealership receipt?
What version software was put in, what module was it (for example was it the body control module)?
I would like to try to duplicate your fix for our Bronco too.
Thank you in advance
After reading the last few pages, it seems:
1. One person got a flash, and says it is fixed. Please post exactly what was done, what the receipt said, what version got flashed, what module, so we can try to repeat your success.
2. One person was going to have the wiper removed and replaced, or...
Please let us know if it comes back. On our Bronco, it will do the slow-down thing (even in heavy rain!) about 95% of the time. About 5% of the time the wipers will work properly and keep running - even on very light rain (just like every other car we have ever owned).
So... For those who think...
To me, it seems that this problem is happening to late 2022 builds and early 2023 builds.
I was wondering, can folks on this forum thread can do two things here in reply:
1. State rough build date of your Bronco with the issue.
2. Come back and update your reply if you got it fixed, how you...
We have a 2022 Badlands that does have the issue, it was made in November 2022.
It seems like the earlier Broncos do not have it too often, as judging by my asking a few people with Broncos that I happened to meet.
Agreed - if they are truly "smart" why don't they come back to normal running in normal rain and fast running when in heavy rain?
They only seem to go into intermittent mode (which I think is not even regular intermittent mode, rather a growing delay). They never go the other way and come back...
