I have been having this same issue for about a month....off and on, stopped doing it and now its doing it again...goes into ford again tomorrow to see if they can figure it out.

It's not seat heaters....if u only have 400 miles it's probably stickers and oils burning off from factory. Check the wire loom that goes to alternator, some are coming from factory not ziptied, they are rubbing on the belt and causing smells.

Yours is most likely just new material setting in. I have 5k miles. And it just started doing this.

Did you have any warning that it was going out? Smells,noise? Any info would be awesome, im wondering if this is the issue im having in my 21 FirstEdition. Getting a burned rubber smell coming from the booster area. Thanks for any info!!

I have a 21 FE and am getting like a burning rubber smell, when I come to a full stop it comes in through the hvac. Smells like a burning belt but everything looks good...not too sure What the hell is going on.
