  1. Where is your favorite place to take your Bronco?

    End of the world
  2. Is it possible to own a Bronco without a broken windshield?

Cracked a year and 1/2 ago, some rock thrown by an 18 wheeler way up in front of us. "Repaired" with one of those super glue kits, and it hasn't spread and shows a bit less. I'll replace the windshield if/when it cracks elsewhere because it will only last a short time intact anyway.
  3. Failed Obstacle on Mineral Creek - Looking for Feedback

Right on! Nothing like honing your skills on a stock vehicle, once you lift and add gimmicks it's like cheating  When you do make sure you push to Engineer pass (if you haven't yet). It's not very far and it's just stunning.
  4. Failed Obstacle on Mineral Creek - Looking for Feedback

Cool video. That trail is not easy and relentless. We did it in the rain but lockers + sasquatch helped a lot, we made it on time for lunch in Lake City. That being said, it looks like all you need is to learn to pick better lines. And even then, sometimes the safest (and environmentally...
  5. Ant-sway Bar disconnect -- Any video showing significantly improved abilities?

This IMO is the biggest factor. Off-camber stuff with sway bar connected is daunting, especially leaning into hundred+ feet void. Sure, lockers will get you out. I disconnect only when necessary and sometimes on 2 wheels you can still make it, teeter-totter style. But a badly rutted or...
  6. Alpine Loop - Lake City, CO feedback?

I'll give a little feedback on the loop as we just did it this weekend. '22 Wildtrak mostly stock, for reference. We started from Lake City with Cinnamon pass. Real easy trail and scenic all the way to the pass. It's an absolute joy to drive as it's not exactly a dirt road but no stress and you...
  7. Looking for advice

I'll follow the advice of getting it addressed by the dealer (hoping they don't mess up anything else...), making sure it's a one-day thing. Thanks all for the feedback!
  8. Looking for advice

I'll search, thanks! I have lockers F&R, they do come in handy.
  9. Looking for advice

 Not to mention the down time. I feel like warranty work took a back seat.

  11. Looking for advice

Not sure, we usually make a weekend out of it on a whim. If there's a group going I can plan around that maybe. Is there a thread for that trip?
  12. Looking for advice

Urgh... Yeah I'll probably do that, but first Moab it's the perfect time of year.
  13. Looking for advice

It's one with the arm, otherwise yeah I'd do it myself. Unless I can replace the boot only? Anyone know if that is possible?
  14. Looking for advice

Hi, took the Bronco in for a front pinion leak under warranty. Got done in a few days, so far so good so I went to pick it up. Driving home it started to smell like gear oil. Yep, leak was worse. Took it back, waited, eventually got told they were going to replace the whole diff. Ok... After...
  15. New issue: front gear differential seal leak

@userdude Yes, pinion seal leak, oil travels down to bottom of diff. I changed the oil on mine in Feb. and noticed a similar leak. Since it's under warranty I thought I'd bring it to the dealership. They replaced the seal in about a week, which is not ideal but not too bad. Drove home and put...
  16. Wildtrak flare removal question

Yes that's essentially it. Be careful and don't yank if something feels tight, sometimes it's tricky getting the levers in the correct position.
  17. Trail etiquette

Hi, the purpose of this post is as a reminder that on busy trails people should pay attention to some things. But also a testament to how ridiculously capable the Bronco is. This weekend my wife and I took a last minute shortcut through the Sangre de Cristo range, great sand dunes towards...
  18. License plate hole repair

If it's ABS, look into mixing acetone and ABS (toilet evacuation piping...). It becomes a paste as it dries and you can fill the hole like it wasn't there before. Then paint touch up..
  19. Help: I purchased a factory stolen Bronco Raptor and had no idea

Hmm... I haven't been scammed of $75k on craigslist (or anywhere else), so I can't tell you. It does not seem like it feels very good. It's also no reason to call people names or be salty AF. Again if that's how you conduct business, good luck...
  20. Help: I purchased a factory stolen Bronco Raptor and had no idea

If you're going to call names... Who got scammed of $75k? All while intending to commit tax fraud? You own a 2016 Taco that is "falling apart"? How in TF does anyone do that? If you conduct business the same way you conduct basic personal transactions, I'd like to steer way clear of whatever...
