so my raptor is at 12k miles. I have to replace one of the front tires. they're the stock 37" ko2.
is 12k enough tread wear difference that it will negatively effect the drive train?
funny enough I had a two door which had noise coming in from the gap in-between the front panels. essentially where the crack is meets the windshield, above where the switches are. I just put my toque there when im not wearing it and it's gone. on my 4 door raptor it had no noise from that spot.
Im on my third bronco. started with a 4 door soft top outer banks, got it when there was still a bit of a shortage on hardtops. went in for service and they had a 2 door badlands 2.7 with the top trim that I wanted originally so I traded in. finally got a raptor.
I do miss the form factor of...
anyone do a spare delete? I want to do one but want to keep the reinforcement bracket so I can put it back on quicker when I do go out somewhere.
any kits anyone can think of that'll work with the bracket?
if anyones done one post some pics!
I had a 4 door OBX that I got used early on. it wasn't my ideal setup so when I chanced by a new 2 door BDL that someone gave up their order on (waited too long moved on I guess) and it was my perfect setup, I traded in the OBX. From what I recall the drive is pretty similar, but the 2 door does...
mercedes here uses enterprise so I've gotten kias and dodge chargers, its a crap shoot. im family friends with the general manager of their service dept and he says everyone complains but thats what the dealership is willing to offer. im just surprised mercedes canada doesn't require the dealers...
I opted for a clear wrap instead of ceramic. My rational is that a wrap is more substantial and absorbs impact more while ceramic is more for clear coat protection. For a tall box I’m expecting a ton of rock chips. Wraps are more expensive by 50% usually but they last double the amount of time.
you have to tow it either to a charging station or home. thats why a full EV bronco (or any other vehicle you will go offroad in the woods in) is stupid. theres nothing you can do if you run out. also its damaging for lithium batteries to go to zero. I've read people in teslas and etc go to...
im not a big fan of mud flaps either but the bronco is notoriously bad for kicking up stuff. its especially bad since i have 35's, i cringe every time i hear/feel something heavier ding my door even with a full wrap. i got mabett ones but didnt like them they're a bit too clunky looking. i...
i really didnt like their styling thats why i didnt get one and waited for a bronco. i wish they stuck with the vintage boxier design like the broncos did. the defender kind of just looks like an LR2 or bigger discovery. that said, it drives amazing. i had the inline 6 one on loan for a bit and...
im running ko2's and im in western canada. had zero issues during that cold snap we had even on icier bits. they're more quiet and comfortable than the wildpeaks.
