Can you relocate the control box under the hood? I did that with my Warn & I know some others on here did it with Smitty Builts (?). It was pretty simple and there is a mfg who makes a bracket specifically for this, & attaches by the battery. Should be some good pictures if you do a search...

My bronco has not been successful in updates in over a year & appears there is a gateway module issue and a few others. Is there someplace where you can research the SSM's if you have the numbers?

Yup this sounds about right, I still have $50 to spend, used $100 on the control pack relocation kit.

Leathal Performance always has them for a good price. Not sure what you consider crazy expensive for shipping as there aren't any FP dealers up here so there isn't an option to ship to the dealer so I have to pay freight from Seattle for almost anything I order.

I am running the General Grabber ATX in 275/70 and havent had any issues. Decent all around tire for up here.
