Have you come across anyone else asking if the slide out would conflict with a tailgate attached subwoofer (Stinger) ?
I understand that the hight of the slide out is 4.5 inches.
But just curious if any exact measurements have been taken to see how much space is needed from the base to the top...
Your setup looks great.
What size did you order for your OEM roof rack?
Any chance you could take some updated pictures a little bit closer to the clamps attached to the rails? (With the shadows it was a little bit hard to see the point of attachment) ,😊
I just want to make sure these are...
What other bracket did you use for the bottom that attached with bottle to the top?
Did you use the provided bolts from the top mount plate or did you purchase other variation?
Yessss. What's up My Dude.
I lost you're original post and never got the chance to say thank you for posting your original idea last year.
Super easy and cheap option you came up with.💪
The strap across the roof on the front end was a little noisy. Or at least the rods were, when they...
Borrowed this idea from someone here on Bronco6G that posted last year.
I just expanded/adjusting a little bit.
Used double-sided velcro tape on the twist lock holder. This helped tremendously with keeping the rods from bouncing around.
Looking to get a set of automatic Tire deflators, not sure which brand to go with.
I prefer not to buy the cheap knockoffs from amazon, would rather go with a higher quality.
Staun, Cayote, Jt Brooks brands keep plopping up.
But I'm not familiar with these.
Would love to get some real...
Has anybody used one of these cargo baskets on their 4 door Bronco (Hard Top) ??
Or any other option similar that fits the OEM roof rack?
Please post any pictures.
I'm trying to figure out if the 64x39 would be sufficient space. Or if I should bump up to the 74 in.
I'm not sure if I'm...
I was late to the party and didn't realize I still had a little height if I turn the tip counterclockwise. Gave me about another 3 in of height. But I'm still going to look into getting some blocks of wood for some stability 👍
Screwing out the top of the jack is something I missed. I just tried it and it gave me about 3 extra inches more in height.
I'm just a little nervous about how wobbly it gets at the tip/top of the jack after unscrewing about 2 in.
But I'll definitely be looking into getting some wood pieces...
I appreciate the feedback. Definitely seems to be the cheapest and easiest option.
I can sense a little sarcasm and that lasts sentence of yours.
But it's a cheap price to pay for the simple solution you help me with 👌
Thanks again
Which is a better option?
Simple 3-inch extension adapter kit from Amazon VS
$117 safe jack kit.
More specifically, should I spend the extra $120-$130 (after taxes) for the more expensive safe Jack kit
To give me the extra little height to be able to slide my jack stands under while...
I totally agree, the tires are incredibly loud when on the freeway. And my bronco definitely feels like a tank.
I was originally going to go with the k03s. But the salesman tossed the R/T's out at me as an option and they were less expensive.
I should have done a little more research before...
