I am going to echo what @Black_Stallion13 said. I have the same setup as he does. The initial installation of the Bestop takes some time. I have a garage and a winch to take the hard top off and that helps drastically. Also if you have help putting the soft top back on that helps drastically as...
Thanks man!
I just had a really bad experience at my local Christian Brothers. Not very many miles ago when I installed my coil overs I took my Bronco in to get aligned. It could have been completely coincidental but shortly after one of my coil overs was leaking which the tech didn’t even...
Thanks Chris @pandamotorworks for the wheels and tires
I went back and forth trying to decide if I wanted 37” tire or to just keep it stock. Ended up getting D rated 35” x 12.5” Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP’s paired with zero offset 17” KMC Technic wheels. I am really pleased I went this...
I completely agree! I have a 2022 MIC and never knew I wasn’t supposed to use an automatic car wash. I have been using one at least once a week since new and have had zero issues. Every once in a while if I have a panel not lined up perfectly I caught a drip inside but I have had the same issue...
Oh shoot missed that! Thank you! Yeah I just noticed a lot of oil below the turbo and traced it to the lines. The lines were loose so I tightened but I may try to get the o rings and check next oil change.
Hey, not sure what the actual size the Coopers are. The K02s are 36.5" that's why there were no issues. Later I cut the crash bars bcuz I got tired of seeing them n added the max clearance kit to box it in.
Others that ran something other than the K02s had some rubbing issues. Do a search here...
Been running the Eibach coilovers and 37's for about a year now . Yes I would suggest UCA's at time of install . Yes the ride Great , no i have never felt any fade or issues running 37's . Am I saying they are the Best , for the price point I would say they are hard to beat .
So you were...
I have close to 50k on my tires and there is still tread left if I wanted to push it. Once my tires got over 40k on them I had a flat on one and am have a slow leak on another. Definitely nearing the end of their life cycle. I am going to but new tires soon.
@BvilleBadlands are you still enjoying the bumper? How was the overall welding and fabrication? I have been looking at the @LifestyleOffroad and the @Lobo Off-Road winch bumper and can’t make up my mind. The Lobo is definitely more refined but cost a little more for the skid late, and extra...
You should not have any trouble. It’s been a while since I removed mine to swap out lights. There were no surprises and it was really quick and easy.
I’m just driving and enjoying mine for now. I threw my soft top on and have been keeping it down unless there is rain. The only thing I need to do is get some front mud flaps and clean it. I live more rural so it kinda stays a little dirty but honestly it looks good that way.
I am in Oklahoma and was able to pick up a brand new in box Bestop Trektop for $1k off marketplace. I really like it but was considering the rampage trail view before I found the Bestop. I am personally glad I went this route. I still don’t necessarily know if the Bestop is better quality but it...
1) Light bar on bumper
2) Open
3) Pod/ ditch Lights backlight
4) Pod/ ditch lights
5) Interior lights
6) Amp turn on ( this powers my sub and stays off when I don’t want bass)
I ordered the roc jock as well. I am parked on a pretty good down slope so hard to tell the angle. Also the lift was pretty close to the spec on the Eibach sheet. I installed on the pre set strut length.
Got home from work today and installed everything. Really like how much better the ride is. Can’t wait to get it offroad. The stance is way better too. Just need to get it aligned now.
There was a flash sale on the the TC Customs website. I got an email and went on their website and a ton of parts were 50% off. Most things sold out pretty quickly. I almost thought it was a scam at first.
Thanks man! I watched that. I was indifferent at first and almost went that route but I’m not wanting bigger tires and was looking for a softer suspension. It sounds like the Eibach’s will be perfect.
