@riprussell You may have more luck finding gen 1 Bronco owners in the Georgia Broncos Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/share/g/16vJ1ErX1z/?mibextid=wwXIfr
You’re welcome, I’ve been extremely happy with all my Turn products. They make some great stuff for a good price, but their customer service is exceptional if you have questions.
It’s the @Turn Offroad billet chase/3rd brake light, it was an easy way to add chase lights. Surprisingly the tire is a 37” but definitely true to size cause it does look bigger lol
I didn’t like the headlight glare at night being so low on the tag frame so I did move it to the top of the brake light which fixed that issue quick. Mine doesn’t rattle very much, which may be from the tailgate reinforcement. I noticed if I lift the camera a tad and tighten it not resting on...
I didn’t touch it so can’t confirm directly, it never alerted me of an issue needing to shut down, but I’m using the overpriced Starlink lighter power adapter from their store. Figured it’d be worth getting their approved one since I want to run it for extended periods.
Here’s my setup, still working on getting my technician license but had to have VHF for a Baja run with EXO. Took out my midland mx275 and wanted a radio that can do GMRS and VHF with a mars mod. Went with the Yaesu FTM500 installed above the glove box with the Mountains2Metal bracket, head unit...
Occasionally I get some shake at highway speeds but it’s short lived when it occurs. It is really helpful to avoid blind spots being up so high with the wider angle visibility compared to the normal mirror.
Friday was my 3 year anniversary of finally picking the Bronco up from the dealer. Figure I’d check in with the build week and see how everyone’s trucks are doing, mine has changed just a bit,
Are you using the OEM mount or the rubber straps? Mine barely rattles, the rear camera shakes a tad at highway speed but that’s mainly due to how it’s attached right now.
If it’s the WolfBox OEM mount, maybe the set screw wiggled loose?
When in direct sunlight there is some washout on the screen, but I added the anti glare screen protector which seemed to help. Visibility was a bit less in direct sun but could still see enough to function.
The best part having the camera in the back, blind spots are a lot less especially when...
Yes, with the hardwire kit installed, it has constant power so will record when the power is off. There is an option to record based on the built in G sensor, which has a low, medium, and high sensitivity setting, or you can set to record so many hours after the truck is turned off.
All...
After winning the @WolfBox mystery box for May in the sponsor section of the forum, figure I’d post my thoughts if anyone else was considering a dash/action cam.
I’ve been wanting to get a dash camera for a while, especially dealing with Atlanta Traffic, but finding the right one was a bit...
Thanks @WolfBox for the May mystery box, excited to open it and find a G900 TriPro Cabin camera! It’s a really impressive camera and feels significantly better built than other basic dash cams I’ve owned previously.
Took some pictures of what’s included, ordered a hardwire kit, OEM mount, and...
Some recent adventures! Definitely wanting to add the tri-pro bumper camera to be able to share first person vantage points from front and rear of these water crossings and trail climbs!
