I’m assuming your are talking about the 4 pin not the 7 pin with the 4 pin correct?

I am not sure, depends on how the lights on the sedan hooked up. With the kit , having a 4 pin and a 7 pin, all bases are covered.

it gives you a 4 pin connection and a 7 pin connection. The 7 pin connection gives you power and trailer brakes connections while the 4 pin just gives lights.

I agree , I have not seen a difference in 1.0 and 2.0. Mine is a 2.0 and as I have stated in other threads I have been given the ok to replace the whole top. But I see no point in it until they come out with a 3.0 that addresses the issues that 1.0 and 2.0 currently have.
