The info posted says the 2025 4Runner shares same engine as the new 2024 Tacoma, which does get a manual transmission option with some trims. So there's some hope that the new 4Runner might get a manual option too.
The info at the link does say "heavily evolutionary in design" so I guess that's what we're seeing and should expect.
I really like how the new Sequoia looks anyway so I'm ok if the 2025 4Runner looks like a smaller version of it.
