Ford has screwed this Bronco release up so bad, that they are even starting to tarnish the vaunted 2.7 EcoBoost, which has been a very exceptional engine.
I agree 100%. A deal is a deal. Hand shake or signed. It's the principle. But, the dealers argument on several threads is that customer bought and resold to carmax, carvana etc. at $15k-$30k over MSRP. Now, we are seeing threads confirming this. Look at the "sold my Bronco getting back in line"...
As of the time I'm typing this, they show 4 FE's and 2 BL's on their site. Of course they say "call for price". It's just a case of people having more money than brains. Plenty of used Bronco's all over auto trader with "reduced price" because they started them so high. I have seen dealers mark...
I installed the Sound Ordnance B-8PTD quite a few years ago and was happy with it. I ran an aftermarket stereo and used RCA cables for my input. How did you tap into the factory system? I remember there was a way to do it, bot not sure of the details. Also did you mount mini-bass under a seat...
I believe this guy as much as I believe my dealer or The Bronco Hotline. As for the engines, I have owned both (F-150 then Ranger). They are both pretty awesome. I love the 2.7, but did not feel it was a $2k upgrade. Plus I wanted the manual. I don't know why, but the 2.7 in the F-150 tested...
Only you can answer that question. Which would you regret more? Dieing with it? Or living without it? LOL. I have sold things that I didn't need the money, but I wasn't using much. Most recently an older KLR 250 motorcycle that was in near perfect condition. It was not being used and kind of in...
Paint quality is terrible too. It's environmentally friendly, but as durable as the water color paints kids use in school. My Ranger lower bed was trashed under 10k miles. And I installed mud flaps in the first week. I am kind of glad I haven't gotten my Bronco yet. Hoping the aftermarket...
You're not an idiot. Your apparently from a time when a handshake and a mans word meant something. Go down the road and buy your company vehicles from someone else going forward. Then bring it to this dealer (if you stay with Ford) for warranty work. They are literally banking on you having more...
Are you another professional car buyer on B6G? Seems to be a ton on this site. The guy took his dealer at their word. Now this. It's unacceptable and inexcusable for a POS dealer to do this. My dealer would only give me their word on MSRP. Even as I had to reorder my 22'. Said they have a...
Let's hope Webasto isn't in the engine parts manufacturing business......🙄. Hopefully they get it figured out soon. I had a completely trouble free 2.7 F-150. Absolutely loved that engine.
Another thing to note: When the 2.7 F-150 first came out, they were being grossly over filled by consumers and dealerships due to the oil having a slow drain down time. This was by design for the auto start/stop system. I remember reading horror stories of places (dealers) overfilling them by a...
It seems to me the factory badges would fit and look great under the Bronco badge. Is nobody doing this? EDIT: I just saw the pic a few post up. This looks perfect!!
I completely disagree. If the people behind you are not smart enough to maintain a safe distance, that is on them. Safe means staying far enough back that you don't get chips on your windshield etc. It's not your responsibility to protect the guy tailgating you from himself. No way, no how!
I seriously think this is the golden lining in all of this. As dealers get flooded (as in a few Bronco's each) with 4 door Big Bends and orders that people have moved on from, the ADM is going to go away in a hurry. I already see Big Bends listed for MSRP in my state, likely these "buildable...
2.7 is an awesome engine. Had one in my F-150. It has been the most reliable in the truck (according to F-150 Forums) sine it's inception. Is there a common denominator in the Bronco failures? I know some were hitting the coolant hose due to piss poor routing. Is this something different? I...
How do people still live in California? I guess when you get taxed to death ADM is a drop in the bucket. No thanks. I agree with others tho, these lower and less desirable builds will squash a lot of the ADM garbage.
There's not likely much Ford can do at this point. The design, engineering and manufacturing process can only be tweeked so much. I am betting this "delamination" of tops is going to end up being deemed "a normal charactheristic of the design that doesn't affect reliabilty or safety, no repairs...
