I used an extender out of necessity and it was all I could find. Did not like it as it never felt secure. If looking for a ball, I would just find one with some drop, at least that is what I am going to do. But for racks and stuff, that may be the only option.
Just my understanding, but all of the advice and whatnot here is for the non B&O system. From what I have read, the B&O system is a different animal, and you did not get the sub delete.
I was just going to replace the rear pods with new 4” kickers. If I replaced with the Mabett/SSV pods with 6.5 kickers and forsecan for the power bar, do they work well without having to add an additional amp?
I put it in eco for a 10 hour round trip early on to see if I saved some gas. I got .4 better than normal mode. I put it in sport for the first time not too long ago and that was fun. Really tightens her up. Mostly keep it in normal though. I have a 60 mile round trip daily commute.
These look like the Rough Country version I have and they are great. If you dont need rock sliders, these are a good option. They hide the pinch welds. They tuck up nice underneath, but I dont know about clearance loss.
Bigfx from the precious page said he ordered some clips from amazon. I am guessing as a safety measure in case he broke some he will have new ones on hand. That is the kind of prep I am looking for. I am guessing the clips from the interior panels.
For those that have done the upgrade, is it smart to go ahead buy some clips? If so, which ones? From amazon I am guessing. Thanks for help on this. My sub arrived today. I need to order the amp, some sound deadening, clips, and a free weekend.
