Is this the winner most people are going with?
Does anyone have before/after pictures?
OP did you ever find something you were happy with?
I had to push a downed tree out of the way and it dug into my modular bumper a bit more than expected LOL. I wanna match as best I can and prevent rust.
I have the factory headliner and there's still quite a gap between the panel and the roof, I know the hot heads is thicker but I'd imagine it should be okay.
Bare with me, I know, very "noob" question.
I'm running a single row 40" bar (BD S8) that's currently wired to Aux 1 using an upfitter harness. I know it's rated at 30amps, I'm seeing 18-19a draw. The wire gets warm, not hot, but definitely warm and it has me a little concerned that the 1.5mm...
I'm running the Zone 2.25" lift and these links in my WT. The only difference is during turns at higher speeds or in a tighter radius there's just slightly a little more body roll but otherwise it rides just perfectly fine and I did notice a little more articulation in the trails.
Ah man I like these, too bad they're back order. I saw they're compatible with Baja and Rigid in the notes so I ordered the Rigid brackets, if those Grimm ones work for both then maybe the Rigid ones do too 🤷🏼♂️
I have the RCI roof rack, the light bar fits on the roof rack no problem. I'm looking for a solution for when I run half-rack because I often just like to leave the back half on until I need the full rack. So I was looking for a solution for the 40" bar in the bare roof (accessory) mounts.
Idk why but for the life of me it seems like I can only find 50" kits.
I have a Baja S8 40" bar, I usually run only half my rack but sometimes I run a full rack hence why I went with the 40".
I'm having trouble finding a roof bracket set for the 40" bar when I'm not using the full rack, any...
Yeah either some are slightly wider or a slight variance in DV8's production. I did have to remove the DV8 panel once and I ended up using ratchet straps as someone suggested to bring the pilars closer together, worked flawlessly lol.
So, I'm constantly changing out filters due to the trails and the Motorcraft cost adds up quickly. Which I'm fine with paying knowing that my engine is protected, but if I can reduce cost I wouldn't mind, obviously.
A common sight most of us are probably used to 😅
I've heard too much...
Alright, it's been a while since I commented. I used the extrusion bar seals that MsPickles recommended and then went to Home Depot and got a couple packs of the Automotive/Marine seals and placed that adjacent to the factory seals of the 2 front pieces for the hard top. So far, either...
Have you had the light bar on since you got the rack? Exactly how yours is is how I had mine initially, only difference being I don't have a light bar.
I'll record it when I get a chance and send you guys an email.
