  1. first 1000 mile factory oil change? worth it?

The most wear you are going to see in a given amount of time in a new engine is during break in, typically the first thousand miles. All of those break in metals are going to be floating around in your oil for an extra few thousand miles putting extra wear on your main and rod bearings, camshaft...
  2. first 1000 mile factory oil change? worth it?

Anyone that tells you not to do your first oil change early has no idea what they’re talking about and generally shouldn’t be trusted on engine related topics.
  3. 2025 Full Digital Cluster successfully installed - swapped into 2022 Wildtrak

Thanks. I’ve used Forscan but not in this capacity. I’ve downloaded the .ab for the 25 from the motorcraft website. How exactly do I get it into forscan and flashed into the cluster? Sorry for the noob questions guys. Edit: I think I figured it out. First I read and save the stock IPC data...
  4. 2025 Full Digital Cluster successfully installed - swapped into 2022 Wildtrak

Just a question so I can understand better. Why would I not load the new cluster from the 25 with the as built data from my high package 23?
  5. Recall 25S01 - Rear Shock Absorber External Reservoir Corrosion *🚨Repair now available*

Mine are weeping. I’m not bringing it in until there’s also a rear camera fix.
  6. Relays mounted to fuse box cover

Nice. I’m a fan of DT connectors myself. Up fitter switch harness in the engine bay.
  7. 2025 Full Digital Cluster successfully installed - swapped into 2022 Wildtrak

I wonder if there’s any issue putting the as built from a lux package on a Bronco the came with high since the high package doesn’t exist anymore.
  8. 2025 Full Digital Cluster successfully installed - swapped into 2022 Wildtrak

Excellent Where did you get it and how much was it? I did some calling around and most of these dealers are useless. I did however find it on line for $845 but there's a $300 core charge?
  9. 2.7l CUSTOM TUNING FOR ALL! NO MORE SWAP, NO UNLOCKS, JUST POWER!

I can tell you that on my 3.5 F150 I had my cam phasers done twice, one under a issue specific extended warranty and other work done while having a front mount intercooler, tune, every bolt on but turbos and water meth injection and no one cared. This like others have said is dealer specific.
  10. 2.7l CUSTOM TUNING FOR ALL! NO MORE SWAP, NO UNLOCKS, JUST POWER!

If you have an issue AND they know you have a tune you may run into some issues. Don’t bring your car to the dealer with the tune installed and you’ll most likely be fine for normal warranty work. If you show up with a rod hanging out of your block and a tune installed you are 100% f*^%#d.
  11. Return to stock? Nope….

Yes sir. I’m all sorted as of now.
  12. 2.7l CUSTOM TUNING FOR ALL! NO MORE SWAP, NO UNLOCKS, JUST POWER!

How much boost are you guys seeing on the 93 tune?
  13. Return to stock? Nope….

Update. I had an issue flashing the ZFG tune, shocking I know. First the RTD wouldn’t read the stock file so I sent in a 5 minute idle datalog. Then, I was getting an error that read ā€œmodule must be upgraded prior to tuningā€ when trying to flash the new tune. After a little bit of back and forth...
  14. Return to stock? Nope….

I’m not on the fence I was just curious. I have been wasting time and money on this stuff for 30 years, from Accel DFI in a Honda in the late 90’s to the Haltech in my rx7. I agree, night and day.
  15. Return to stock? Nope….

You did en ecu swap or did you just flash the stock Ecu? I appreciate that, I’m 5 minutes over the outer bridge. If there’s any hiccups I’ll hit you up.
  16. Return to stock? Nope….

I tried to explain that’s it’s just like flashing an update to a regular ecu, but they didn’t care. Also, the lady at Causeway Ford in Nj sucks. At the expense of jumping the gun as I haven’t even loaded their tune yet, whoever I’ve been talking to at sales for ZFG has been excellent.
