I know some news outlets monitor this forum as I've seen plenty of "according to a post at Bronco6g.com...". I'm very surprised this hasn't gotten picked up as a news item. You'd think for sure that someone like Jalopnik would run with it at least for the ad impression revenue.
I don't think the issue is the charging pad, it's wireless charging + wireless Android Auto or Apple CarPlay at the same time.
Android Auto and Apple CarPlay basically do a remote screen share on the infotainment screen. So if you are doing that wirelessly that means you are using the Bluetooth...
Thanks for the write-up! I was very interested in this for my 2-door, but it seems to have some very serious issues. I'm not going to buy it unless GG fixes all of these issues. They have some time since so few 2-doors are getting built and shipped.
I live in South Florida. I bought the car with tint already on it, but I believe it was a 3M tint. My blurry tint is a recent experience: I just replaced the tint 6 months ago with 3M color safe. I always use a window cleaner designed for tinted windows (both before and after the replacement)...
Personally, I'd never tint my windshield. I noticed the side window tint in my car started to get a bit blurry before I replaced it. I wouldn't feel like I'm being a responsible driver driving around at night with tint that is starting to blur everything in front of me.
When I complained about it during the MY22 reorder, my dealer said that they lowered the MSRP by $400 to partially offset the fact that it's an add-on option now.
I did not verify. I just grumbled and still added it.
Its crazy. At $100k I'm looking at a Navigator.
It must be related to the possibility of future collectabity given the semi-recent surge in value of old Broncos.
