  1. Speaker Replacement Options

I did 4" and 6.5" Rockford Forsgate speakers with the typical boom mats for dash, polyfil and dynamats for the floor and rear pods. Kicker key 200.4 amp and a Kicker HS8 powered subwoofer velcroed to the trunk rubber mat. Very happy in my 4 door, soft top Big Bend! PS: I used the...

  3. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

I took the easy way out and grounded it under one of the screws that holds the anchor bolt down in the back. I have rubber mat covering it so was easier than one on the side panel...seems to work for my sub.
  4. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

I put the amp in the glovebox for easier access. There are other options noted in the forums. I'm debating on the subwoofer location. For ease of taking it out, I'm thinking of just velcroing it to my rubber mat for now to keep it from sliding around. I can quickly disconnect it from the...
  5. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

I can advocate for the PNPKits...truly simple process (after you take all the panels off/down) and get access to the audio plug. Couldn't be simpler...I got Kit 18 as I wanted a powered subwoofer in the back along with the Key 200.4 amp. With my updated speakers (and a lot of dynamat/polyfil)...

Thanks for the direction. I followed it and they came out beautifully! However, the 4 bolts are a different story...they seem to loosen but not come out. Are these also to be loosened and then pulled out? Feels like there is a nut or something on the other side. It just keeps turning.

Hi Tanman. First time looking at the fender liner…what’s the best way to remove it/take out the clips? I feel like I’m going to snap each one! Thanks.
  8. Wireless Charging Pad (Amazon) installed

Just realized this won't work in my manual configuration...the area is truncated due to the shifter!

Anyone have a part number for the piece that covers the grab handle I I take it off? The one near the shifter.
  10. Wireless Charging Pad (Amazon) installed

Thanks! What type of connector does it come with? It looks like you connected it to the smaller outlet.
  11. Bundle of Disconnected Wires

Okay. Does that mean they have been run up the pillars as well? That would be convenient if I wanted to add the switches later. Would have to check the fuse box too.
  12. Bundle of Disconnected Wires

Hi Forum. I was wiring my powered sub through the firewall when I noticed this bundle of wires. Any idea what they are for? I have a 2021 Big Bend soft top 4 dr MT and no aux switches accessory. Thanks.

Should be. Consider boom mats for the 4” dash speakers, dynamat behind the 6” and rear speakers and if you prefer bass blockers for the dash speakers. I’ve read though the DSP on the amp may adjust for that.
