My Bronco has a VIN, can't add it unfortunately at this point. This is where I wish a salesperson could have pushed me in the right direction. The Locker seems like a nobrainer shoulda woulda coulda thing.
Yeah I have a VIN so can’t change it at this point. Not having the locker doesn’t change my excitement to get it, but it does make me think maybe there is a new Bronco order down road. I’ll be thankful to be one of the first ones to be on the road with a new Bronco but I’ll always have it in the...
So I'm not much of an off roader. As a matter of fact, the Bronco will be the first 4WD vehicle that I've owned... which isn't completely true I guess, since I did own an AWD C4S 911 at one point. That is another story though.
My wife is the one who really wanted a Wrangler as our 2nd car, so...
Every modern emblem is put on this way with double sided tape. Why make a hole in your paint paint if you don’t have to? It’s an irreversible mod, you risk exposing bare metal, and asking for rust. At one point I headed detail at a major brand dealer, I’ve seen bad rust from the smallest...
Why not just use a dremel to take the pegs off then use 3m double sided tape to adhere. That way you aren’t compromising your paint with an irreversible mod.
I've leased in the past as a means to purchase. Allows you to put very little down upfront, have a low monthly payment and live with the vehicle for an extended period of time. I've actually been so far ahead on a few of them that the "trade in" at the end of the lease is more than my residual...
It's just like when Nissan released the Skyline GTR or when Chevy released the latest corvette. People pre-ordered, paid MSRP and then are able to jack up the price upwards of 20k for a few months while the car is still super rare. I'll bet there are a ton of guys on VinWiki attempting to do the...
I was at the Atlanta Auto Show and saw the same bronco. I have the same takeaways as you did. However one thing I am a bit disappointed in is the hard plastic. There is a ton of it. I think for those building "Luxury" versions of the Bronco, they will be let down with that element.
I went to the Atlanta Auto show this weekend to see the Bronco. Glad I did. Got me pumped up that much more for the car. They wouldn't let us sit in it, could only walk around, open doors etc.
Some impressions from myself and the fam.
- Trunk area was much larger than expected.
- LED front...
I have a 7/14 reservation at one of the forum dealers and I barely made it into a 2021 allocation slot according to the allocation number I was given. I've been told the allocation number isn't the end all be all of when you are actually getting your Bronco. But it doesn't feel great to be an...
Curious as to what the response is to this. I'm in a similar situation with a forum dealer. Will be interesting response to know if your allocation #/place on the dealer list is related to delivery date or allocation # is simply saying yes you will receive a 2021 and delivery will be based on...
Thanks for that info. I am now a bit concerned as far as timing goes having gone with one of the regional Forum dealers that is offering upfront pricing. They have been very nice and helpful through the process, but I am a bit worried about the over saturation of early reservation holders they...
What about allocation # within your dealers order system? I've been told my allocation number is included in MY21, I have a early Day 2 Reservation date, but I am very far down the list on my allocation number.
Could it be that while I have an early reserve date I still will be waiting a long...
OK great thanks for the info. I have an Outer Banks on order. Mainly wanted the body matched bits, but the lighting package included was a bonus. Still think I would have ordered Outer Banks based on that info but would have been nice to know/have some clarity for some of these items. Oh well...
Thanks for the welcome. Sorry about the old thread. But are you sure about the signature lighting option including the tail lights on the Big Bend. Go to the configurator and add it. It doesn't reflect them in the rendering and makes no mention of the tail lights in the text for signature...
With the OBX you get more than what the original poster first suggests:
- LED Tailights (Can't be had on BB)
- Color matched fenders, mirrors, door handles (Can't be had on BB)
- 18" Wheels/Tires
The rest of it you can pretty much add with the mid package on the BB, Signature Headlamps...
