i believe Ford has released a TSB for this I haven't got it yet but if you do not know the lurch is coming on a downshift on a steep shelf road in Colorado it could be devastating. I had it happen.

Had mine replace at 12k. 23 wildtrak. The dealer didn't specify as to the cause. but did state they had to use a specific synthetic fluid per Ford to replace it. Here are my pics

Great looking build. When you repaced the beadlock trim screws with stainless steel. With a direct replacement, any torque specs or thread lock needed?

Mine was damaged the same way, but Ford was fixing the windshield recall. They tried the touch up an you could still see the damage. Had to schedule the body shop to repair it and paint it. I would file a claim with the glass company to repair it. The windshield still having damage if it is...

The Florida Commission Insurance regulators bowed to The Florida Auto Dealer Association that out of state insurance purchases are now not allowed outside Florida. Florida dealers charge more than other states and were getting beat up badly. This only applies to online or phone purchases only...

How did you contact the Executive office of Ford. I'm dealing with a module issue as well, although mine is drivable. I was told it was a software issue as well. Ford escalation case has done nothing, Its been 4 months now. I hope you get repaired soon.
