Seems pretty clear based on your experience and my post earlier that these Emails from Ford are somehow lagging by like 2 weeks. I have no earthly idea how a company can be so far behind on simple emails.

Ok this makes me feel better because I just got this email too despite getting moved to built status as of 3/13!! They literally can’t do anything right!!!

Update on my end. I was fortunate to report to you all yesterday that my order changed to build status. Right before that I had reached out to Ford via Twitter and their social media engagement team called me a short while ago. The nice lady said I’m still awaiting a shipping confirmation but...

Outer Banks 4D Hardtop 2.7 High package with leather. Blend date was 1/21. Originally EDD was 2/15 and had been bumped to 5/16 before disappearing. Not sure if that answers your estimated “build” date question or not.

With tailgate mounted sub boxes my primary concerns would be exposure to elements when opening in the rain and rattle. Would appreciate any commentary to alleviate either or both of these concerns.
