Are bronco Raptor s ordered 10/22 price protected ? It was a special order with a dealer allocation … I would be happy to hear that is the case …

I have a signed purchase agreement with a dollar amount (seriously). Since Bronco Raptors aren’t price protected… the price I pay is tied to my build date. At 82k, the bronco seemed expensive but not outrageous…at $95k —-the price is, IMO, outrageous.

The dealership is not the issue, they agreed to MSRP—-which given the market for bronco raptors is a good deal and a fair deal for both the buyer and dealer… The dealer did not raise the price…FORD raised the MSRP to the tune of $13,250 from date of order to build date…6 months(it was supposed...

I finally got an order placed and accepted for a 2023 Bronco Raptor ….the deal was msrp …I bought a couple fords over the past 36 months and this was the deal I managed to get …MSRP at time of order $82,275 last week my bronco raptor is scheduled for production and window sticker reveals MSRP…...

Fords bottom line is hurting and the standard..let’s deny all claims is their playbook to save some expense. Fords quality is absolutely hitting an all time low …I have 3 Ford trucks , all less than 3 years old and I have lost track of how many warranty visits I have made in the past 24...

I’ve listened to a few bronco raptors during start up and not heard any obvious start up noise …but I have heard a similar noise when the engine is turned off …so do failing cam phasers make a sound when vehicle is turned off as well ?

I discovered a “bumper” alignment issue when installing a JCR prerunner bolt in —not a problem with the JCR unit. The drivers side of my factory bumper which has never been damaged or removed is about 1 inch off —-this creates a problem as I cannot remove the torx bolts to install the JCR...

If ford employees paid as much attention to details when building my last two ford vehicles (as some internet forum people) I wouldn’t have a bumper issue…lol.

The bolt has some scratches on the head but it is still in tact. Yes , The bolt is below the bull bar plate … I can’t remove the bolt so the bull bar is sitting on it temporarily. So another trip to the dealer …hopefully just a bumper alignment issue and not a frame alignment issue.

So I ordered the JCR pre runner bull bar and went to install it …one side of my bumper is not aligned so I cannot remove the torx bolt. See pictures. There is no clearance to remove the bolt ..it is under the fender and grill plastics. Ford has absolutely blown me away with the poor build...

I was definitely one of those that hated on the bronco raptor flares ….now that I own one is actually looks fine …not offensive as in the pictures I saw—- I’m not staying I love them but it’s doesn’t bother me like I thought it would. Just my .02 cents.
