Because there are those who want others to think they have a Raptor. They usually dont evn know why those lights are on a Raptor, just assume its a styling cue.
When I was a boy my Dad would take my brother and I on trips to Baja. This was the early 60's. He had a 2 wd Dodge pickup and he went everywhere with that darned thing. Then got into motorized transportation, motorcycles. But being too young to get drivers licenses we took to the great off road.
I got the same grill. Very affordable and better than the Ford offering (IMHO) as it has all the vent holes of the Gen 1 grill. That and it comes with the amber covers for the inner portion of the turn signal.
Google Maps works well enough for me. Good alerts to speed traps etc. The Ford nav does have the little speed limit icon that is useful. I wonder (out loud) if when using the Ford navigation with cruise control on if the speed is adjusted in different speed zones? That might entice me to re-up...

I would wait for the EVOs. I have a set of them on my Gen1 Raptor with the supercharged drivers. Could not be happier. I have yet to see comparable light output from anything else.
I off road mine quite a lot here in the desert Southwest. I also have a gen 1 Raptor that is a real blast to drive offroad. A much more visceral experience, less tech, more fun. But... the Bronco is so much fun on the tighter stuff climbing to ghost towns and tight trails. There is room for both...
Obnoxious. But seems the owner wants all the noise he can make. Take something that is relatively decent to take on long road trips and make it insufferable. Way to go.
Dont know it the construction is similar or not. Just went through this with my Gen1 Raptor. Turns out the lower cushion is attached to the base with a sort of drawstring. That string came loose and the inboard side of the bottom cushion popped up. I could see it by looking in under the front of...
I got my R/C last year for cheap and I see the price has come down further if you hunt. Like all of the aftermarket bumpers you are left to your own devices as what to do about the license plate.
