Thanks for the reply and information. I guess I'm just reluctant because I've heard the replacements are in many cases no better and different shades of grey in some cases.
I also find that Ford Canada doesn't necessary march in step with Ford USA.
So from your perspective is my clamshell...
Thanks for all of the feedback gang.
I couldn't find any cracking in my top so it's just what you see in the photos.
Based on the experiences you've all had does this always progress to cracking in the top?
Being that the Bronco is just over 4 months old I was thinking I'd just run it through...
I was under the impression that the issues with the Bronco MIC hardtops had been rectified but am seeing people with 2024’s reporting issues with them delaminating & failing.
I got my 2024 Wildtrak in August 2024 and have barely 1000 kilometres on it as of now.
I had a good look at my MIC roof...
Ford will use anything to void the warranty so I would not tell them you used it and personally I wouldn't use anything other than soap and water on it.
I think the logic for just soap & water is because the failure rates on the MIC tops is so high that you don't want to give Ford an excuse to invalidate a warranty claim.
This group of what look like Roma gypsies has been captured on a couple of different dash cams pulling this stunt.
Imagine how many they've pulled where no dash cam footage was available.
I get so angry when I see these incidents and hope that by now the police have caught them.
